Mission Statement

Cloudbuster Attacks On Planet Earth

Cloudbusting is a menace to the environment. Despite some claims to the contrary, cloudbusting is not a solution to environmental problems; it is a problem in itself, a destructive technology requiring a condemnatory response by the environmental movement.

Cloudbusting is not something new; it is already so comonplace as to be intolerable and an environmental movement to control this currently unregulated technology is needed to protect the public.

All over the world people are getting worried about what is happening to the climate. Each year, it seems, there are more and more extreme weather events of increasing severity and frequency. Records are being broken more often than ever before in recorded history. It is clear the climate of the entire world is becoming destabilized, less reliable, more random and chaotic, with droughts, floods, heat waves, and severe cold spells becoming the norm.

While there are several factors involved in this climatic breakdown, one seldom recognized major factor in this climate destabilization is the existence of a technological means to interfere with the natural movement of the atmosphere on a large scale. This device, called a cloudbuster, is simple and cheap enough to construct that in recent years hundreds of individuals all over the world, learning about it from instructions promiscuously posted on irresponsible websites, have taken it up as a backyard hobby.

Many of these individuals tend to be paranoid and delusional, and are using the cloudbuster as a sort of prop in a role-playing game, often imagining themselves to be fighting off hostile UFOs, resisting a secret government plot of some kind, or changing "bad" atmospheric energy into "good".

Many others claim they are "ending droughts", "making rain", or "doing research". They seem oblivious to the fact that the droughts they think they are ending resume as soon as they stop operating because the underlying cause of the drought has not been adressed. They fail to understand that the goal of proper cloudbusting is not to make rain, but to restore normal pulsation of the atmospheric energy so that, among other effects, rain will occur spontaneously as needed.

They ignore the rights of the people affected to be told what is being done to their environment and to have some say in the matter, and that subjecting people to a research program who have not given their informed consent is a human rights violation.

Some think they are "greening deserts", while in reality, they are subjecting the fragile dryland ecosystem to unusual stress from excessive rainfall in areas where all native life-forms are well-adapted to the prevailing conditions.

They usually have no idea of the scientific basis upon which the cloudbuster works, or fantasize, without evidence, that some wildly speculative theory of their own concoction is the better theory. Frequently they have little idea of what a cloudbuster is capable of, many of them, for example, thinking it only affects their local area.

As a result of these incompetent interventions in atmospheric dynamics, countless innocent victims have died and the environment has been seriously disturbed in numerous weather-related catastrophes.

Due to their paranoia they do not often communicate what they are doing to others working in the same field. Many of them, in fact, think they are the only ones doing anything with what they think is a somehow suppressed and secret invention. Many others are so arrogant they think nobody except themselves and their associates is able to conduct cloudbusting operations safely and properly, so they refuse to co-operate with those they deem "unqualified".

While there is certainly nothing secret or suppressed about the cloudbuster, it is regarded as crackpot by many of the scientific community, in large part because of the absurd fictions and folklore with which it has become surrounded. The fantastic legends of its' inventor, Wilhelm Reich, having been the victim of official persecution, or of some alleged conspiratorial plot, or having fought wars with beings from outer space, or having had meetings with Einstein, serve to distract attention from the serious issue of the menace of the cloudbuster he invented.

This large body of folklore functions to hide the reality of the cloudbuster as an effective, science-based tool and disguise it as a crackpot fantasy. It is perfectly right, in fact, the only rational response of anyone with even the slightest scientific education, to dismiss such a device as incapable of having any effect on the weather when it is presented wrapped in such packaging.

The failure to recognize the imput into the total atmospheric picture of this proliferation of crackpots playing around with cloudbusters means the scientists trying to understand the weather are misled into ignoring that a large portion of unusual weather events are being caused by this unsuspected form of technological intervention and instead think the climate changes now underway are being caused by some other factor, such as greenhouse effect from combustion products released into the atmosphere.

Any theory of what is happening with the weather and climate on this planet must take the social phenomena of a mass movement of cloudbuster hobbyists into account. And the environmental movement must mount an effective effort to counter this form of blatant interference with the atmosphere.

If and when cloudbusting is ever recognized by the scientific community as a science-based reality rather than a prop in a fantasy role-playing game, then it can be expected that official agencies will take over the job of protecting the public from improper use of the cloudbuster. But until then, it is up to concerned environmentalists to fill that role. Otherwise, until cloudbusting can be regulated, countless innocent victims will continue to die each year from cloudbuster-murder by crackpot Reichians.

And greenhouse gases from combustion will take the rap. The world is now facing serious economic problems at least partially caused by the mistaken belief that the atmospheric disorder caused by cloudbusting is due to a greenhouse effect instead, and numerous laws are in the process of being passed taxing or restricting fuel-burning activities in an effort to prevent weather disasters that are really being caused by cloudbusting and could only be prevented by restricting the use of cloudbusters.

Until effective regulation is in place, however, the few responsible people who are aware of the threat posed by cloudbusters must be ready and willing to take whatever action is needed to stop the use of cloudbusters in their home areas. Direct intervention by concerned citizens is often the only way to prevent serious harm to the earth and to the public, and this is one of those cases.

**************************************************************************************************

In recent years, as the internet has made it possible for anyone with a
computer to spread the word about anything they please, irresponsible
instructions for building cloudbusters have mushroomed and
cloudbusting is now second only to nuclear power as the worst environmental
threat.

Cloudbuster proliferation has become a major environmental problem.

The cloudbuster is a very simple, easy to construct device that can be used to help restore a sick, damaged atmosphere to normal self-regulatory functioning.

This re-establishment of natural self-regulation to the atmosphere when it has become damaged and stagnated is the goal of any properly-done cloudbusting project.

Unfortunately, many people fail to grasp this point. Anyone who uses terms like "weather engineering", "etheric engineering", "weather control", "rainmaking", and the like, does not understand this important factor in cloudbusting.

It is an unfortunate side-effect of cloudbusting that it can be misused to cause rain and can have other direct effects on the weather.

In recent years many environmentalists have expressed concern that the details of how to construct a cloudbuster are too easily available on the internet. There is a growing Orgonomic Ecology Movement that is concerned about unwanted consequences of cloudbuster interference in the weather and seeks to prevent cloudbuster proliferation and combat those individuals guilty of hubris who wish to intervene in the weather by this means.

The Orgonomic Ecology group exists to explore ways and means to stop the proliferation of cloudbusters and expose to public outrage the power-drunkards and control-freaks who are attacking our atmosphere with cloudbusters, however they may rationalize their destructiveness.

We will pull no punches. We will name names and fight back against the propaganda of the atmosphere abusers and their enablers.

We regard Atmosphere Abuse as similar to other, more personal, forms of abuse, such as abuse of children or animals. The psychology of the abuser is the same, and we intend to expose that pathology.

We seek to build an anti-cloudbuster movement that can bring to a halt the rapidly growing hobby of manipulating the weather by control-freaks who are unable to leave the natural world alone.

Please spread the word around about this blog and urge your contacts to read it and to pass it on to their own contacts also.

About Me

I have been very involved in orgonomy since 1967 and have done cloudbusting, oranur work and laboratory experiments with orgone accumulators, medical DOR-busters, and pre-atomic chemistry. I was a student of Dr. Eva Reich, the daughter of Dr. Wilhelm Reich, who invented the cloudbuster, and have a letter from her saying I have learned what she has to teach and she considers me "very knowledgeable in this field".

Cloudbusting, Farming, And Population

Many of the people who decide to try cloudbusting are farmers or if not farmers themselves, they cite "helping farmers" and "producing more food" as one of their main reasons for cloudbusting. But so far, to the best of my information, not one of them has ever been active in any effort to reduce demand for food by reducing the population, something that could reduce the need they think exists for interfering with the functioning of the atmosphere to grow more food.

Several vegans have suggested there would be less land needed to grow grain if people gave up eating meat. The reasoning seems to be that since cattle are fed grain, and eat more than humans would, the grain saved by not feeding them could be eaten by humans.

That thinking overlooks the fact that it is only in the United States, with 5% of the world population, and a few other first-world countries, mainly in Northern Europe, all with small populations, that cattle are fed on grain. In most of the world, cattle are raised only on grass, and the land used to graze them is marginal land not good for growing crops, which is why it is used for grazing.

So if that land was no longer used for grazing, other land, now in a more or less natural state, not in use, would have to be cleared to grow the extra crops that would be needed to feed the people that portion of their diet that now comes from grass via cattle. This is shown in Brazil, where a lot of rain forest has been cleared to grow soybeans to export to Europe and America to be eaten by people who have been convinced to take up a vegan diet.

It can also be seen in Southeast Asia, where large tracts of rain forest have been cleared to grow palms to provide vegetable oil for export to Europe and North America for vegetatrians and vegans to use in cooking. So, instead of killing cows, these well-meaning but uninformed people are indirectly killing elephants and orangutans by depriving them of their habitat.

One recent correspondent sent me an article that claims the earth could grow enough food for twice the current population on the same amount of land by improved farming methods.

I replied:

"An interesting article. But it has a number of flaws. It does not even touch on the immense damage done to the natural plant life by modern methods of farming, such as genetic modification of plants used for crops. Animal life also is harmed by modern farming methods like that, as in the case of bees needed to pollenate plants being killed by GM plants they feed from, and lab rats being rendered sterile by eating GM foods.

Growing more crops is not the answer. It is only the answer Monsanto and other  purveyors of agricultural chemicals and GM seeds want to sell as the answer.

If only safe and ecologically sound farming methods were used, only a small fraction of what is grown today could be grown. It is true that modern cattle raising is a very harmfull practice, but if the best replacement for it is to grow more crops with modern agricultural methods, that could be even worse.

To really do any good, it is not enough to replace one evil with another, and posibly worse one. We need to solve the root problem, too many people on this planet, not just switch them from one form of destruction to another by changing their diets. The problem is not what these people eat. It is that there are too many of them that are eating anything.

And feeding them with imports from Mars would not solve the problem either because the total human ecological footprint on the earth is far, far greater than just what  is done to provide food. If there were more people, there would be more demand for electricity, fuel oil, highways, forest products, more urban sprawl, more pollution, more rivers damed, more nuclear reactors built, and a long list of other demands on the earth, "

I am still awaiting a reply.

Now, if someone is really concerned about how well people eat, and also about protecting the environment, I would expect that person to already, before even ever having heard of cloudbusting, to be active in the movement to reduce population, and in combating the evil, criminally insane religions that oppose doing anything to solve the population problem.

If someone who has never tried to work on that issue says he wants to intervene in the functioning of the atmosphere to "help farmers" or "prevent famine", he is probably guilty of self-deception and I would suspect him of being more interested in power-tripping and the emotional satisfaction and feeling of power from being in control of the weather than in helping anyone. After all, if he has never tried to help solve a problem until he hears of cloudbusting, why should he suddenly want to solve it with a cloudbuster when he never was too concerned about it before?

Cloudbusting can and should be used to restore normal atmospheric functioning in cases where the atmosphere is not functioning naturally and needs help to recover. But cloudbusting is not a solution to the problem of too many people all wanting to eat and too much land being needed to feed tham all.

The cloudbuster is not a way to add the deserts of the world to the farms of the world. In places where deserts are the result of human activity, such as deforestation or over-grazing of livestock, simply increasing rainfall would not help much. The rain would soon stop again if the reason the landscape became a desert in the first place was human use, unless it was allowed to regain its' original vegetation cover and remain undisturbed as a natural ecosystem and not be ploughed up and cultivated as soon as possible. .

Cloudbuster-aided recovery of lands that have been deserts for ages due to some ancient catastrophe, could be done eventually, but it would take many years, possibly even centuries after the return of full atmosphericpulsation and normal weather, for the ecosystems of those lands to fully recover. Creating rain in a desert area without first removing the DOR barriers that obstruct approching weather fronts, and then ploughing the newly irrigated land, would be adding additional vandalism to the damage already done by desertification, and would delay recovery of the ecosystem by many more years if an attempt at real recovery was ever made at some later date.

Altering normal or seasonal weather in an ecosystem that is functioning well already, but not suitable for commercially valued crops, would be a willful destruction of a properly functioning ecosystem merely to change it into farmlands, useless for anything except growing food for an ever-growing human population that can never be satisfied.

So cloudbusting should not be thought of as a panacea to enable unrestrained population growth by irrigating deserts to turn them into farms. The cloudbuster is not just another method of irrigation. It is not a farm tool.

Properly speaking, the cloudbuster is a form of medical treatment, on a landscape scale. And it should be used in the spirit of a medical treatment, for the health of the patient, the earth. It is the only means by which an injured and dying ecosystem can be restored to health. And that is its' only legitimate purpose.

Underground Radio And Underground Cloudbusting

When I was a teenager, a kid in the neighborhood who was heavily into electronics, and who incidentally is now an electronics engineer for a local TV station, set up a full-scale radio broadcasting studio in his basement, using a home-made transmitter and a technique called "carrier current", capable of sending the signals over the city power transmission lines so it was impossible for the FCC to trace where the signal was coming from except as far as the nearest power line.

For that whole summer we broadcast programs that could be picked up on a regular AM radio all over town on a regular schedule while the FCC tried fruitlessly to find out who we were. We ran up what would have been a $2.5,000,000 fine if we had ever been caught, and only quit when we had to go back to school in the fall. We called ourselves, "Your Underground Radio Station. Which was appropriate since we were located in a basement.

Now, except for political revolutionary groups and resistence movements in occupied countries during wartime, I have never heard of any other illegal radio station with regularly scheduled programing. Most people just naturally take it for granted that a radio station must have a license to broadcast. Hardly anyone questions that. It is regarded as a fact of nature. And the need for a license is not just a matter of a government wantinmg to control and tax something. It really IS based on a fact of nature.

There is a limit to the amount of room available in the portion of the spectrum that can be used for broadcasting, so there must be a means to prevent too many stations from crowding the spectrum and interfering with each other. Requiring a license to operate and allowing only one license-holder to use each usable frequency is the only possible way to have any useable broadcasting at all.

Of course it was not always so. In the early days of radio, for the first few years after radio was invented, anyone was free to build and operate a broadcasting station at will with no regulation at all. But that changed in a few years when the spectrum began to get too crowded for that, and laws were passed to allocate parts of the spectrum to licensed operators so they would not block out each others' signals. Otherwise, since the radio spectrum is a resource of limited extent, the resulting chaos would render all radio impossible.

Cloudbusting is still in the stage of a free-for-all, with no controling agency to allocate cloudbusting priviliages to qualified operators and ensure that their operations are in the public interest. The difference is that radio was regulated within a few short years of its' inception, while cloudbusting has now been around for 60 years.

It is reasonable to ask why this is so. Why has no body of laws been enacted to prevent the rather obvious harm to the public that unlicensed cloudbusting can cause?

Other new technologies, such as the airplane and the automobile, were licensed and regulated within a few years of their invention also. Most new technologies and inventions rather quickly are subjected to control by the authorities. Cloudbusting, like firearms, which existed for centuries before anyone thought to regulate them, seems to be among the very few exceptions.

That is going to have to change. And it is going to have to change soon. Already, countless lives have been lost due to the ignorance of inexperienced cloudbuster operators.

In one single cloudbusting project in East Africa, more than 20,000 people died from diseases carried by large numbers of insects that bred in the puddles of standing water left all over the landscape in the wake of out-of-season rains brought by a "successful" cloudbusting operation to "green the desert" in a nearby country. If the same amount of rain had fallen at the right time of year, there would have been no such epidemic because migratory birds would have been there to eat the insects, but at the time of year when the birds were not there, epidemics resulted.

A short telephone consultation with an ecologist would have alerted the cloudbuster operator to the dangers, but I know of no instance of any cloudbuster operator ever bothering to consult an ecologist. And this despite there already being several laws on the books, in almost all countries, that would require such consultations for any project that could reasonably be expected to impact the environment.

At the present time, anyone, anywhere in the world, who feels like taking up cloudbusting can do so without regard for any environmental protection laws or the safety of the public. Although there are laws in several places that clearly require anyone intending to engage in weather modification to obtain a permit,  nobody has ever done so. And nobody has ever been prosecuted for disregarding these laws.

But a teen-ager caught using a home-made radio transmitter to broadcast home-made programing to people who want to listen to it would be subject to a huge fine, more than his expected lifetime earnings.

Just as there is a limited amount of broadcast band available to use for radio broadcasting, and a too-crowded spectrum would cause interference that would render all broadcasts useless, so there is a limit to the number of cloudbusters that can be used in a given area without interfering with each other and ruining the results. The effective range of a typical cloudbuster operation is up to several hundred kilometers, and long-range side-effects have been noted at much greater distances than that.

Regulation will have to take into account the great range of cloudbuster operations and prevent compound or conflicting operations from accidentally disrupting, augmenting, or counter-acting  each other. That would require, among other things, that all proposed operations be made public in advance, probably on a specially dedicated website that anyone could access to see if any cloudbusting is planned for today, and if so, where it is being done and what the proposed operation is intended to accomplish.

In a very large country, such as the United States, Canada, Russia, China, or Australia, there might be room for several cloudbusters to operate without too much risk of overlaping effects. But in other places, such as Central Europe or the Balkans, there might be no room for more than one cloudbuster to serve several countries.

Co-ordinated operations by several cloudbusters working together might also be done. This would involve a much greater area, and therefore the co-operation of several governments unless an international regulatory body is formed. Again, the experience gained by the international agreements that regulate international activities such as aviation, shipping, and radio broadcasting will point the way to international co-operation in the field.

Any effective regulation will require some means of detecting covert operations. A cloudbuster is too cheap and too simple to build for the safety of the public to depend on nobody happening to attempt an illegal operation. An investigation agency of some sort will be needed to track down cases of suspected cloudbusting and gather evidence needed to successfully prosecute the case.

Unlike radio broadcasting, an operating cloudbuster does not put out any signal that can be detected and traced. But the behavior of the atmosphere is sometimes a clue to if there has been a cloudbuster at work or not. From watching the weather maps it is often possible to note anomolies that indicate cloudbusting. The methods of observation and deduction that have been pioneered by a few workers in the field can be developed into a new branch of orgonomic science: Forensic Orgonomy, the art and science of detecting cloudbusters at work.

Cloudbusting must be used responsibly, and only by people who understand both the science behind it and the biological environment upon which the cloudbuster exercises its' effects. And without that condition being met, it is among the very worst dangers threatening the earth.

Now It's Official

USGS Proof That Fracking Causes Earthquakes

"Earth's crust is pervasively fractured at depth by faults. These faults can sustain high stresses without slipping because natural "tectonic" stress and the weight of the overlying rock pushes the opposing fault blocks together, increasing the frictional resistance to fault slip. The injected water counteracts the frictional forces on faults and, in effect, "pries them apart", thereby facilitating earthquake slip."

In 1994, there was a big earthquake in California.

1994 Northridge earthquake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The earthquake happened after an all-night drawing operation with  a cloudbuster by a group calling itself the C.OR.E. Network, headed by Dr. James DeMeo. The cloudbuster, one of several mounted on trucks for mobility, and traveling all up and down the West Coast, had been grounded into a well which connected to the underground water table.

A cloudbuster draws orgone energy from the point in the sky it is aimed at into the water it is grounded into. And orgone energy in high concentrations, makes water expand. The water was already under high pressure and the expansion shattered the billions of tiny cells in the porous rock. Resulting slipage and vibrations are what triggered the earthquake.

Now, this conclusion by the U.S. Geological Survey concludes that is possible, just as I have said all along. This strongly supports my analysis of the event and adds substancial weight to the possibility that Dr. DeMeo and his associates are guilty of :

"The death toll came to a total of 57 people, and there were over 8,700 injured. In addition, the earthquake caused an estimated $20 billion in damage, making it one of the costliest natural disasters in U.S. history."

Social Unrest Caused By Cloudbusting

In his book on the Bioelectrical Experiments On Sexuality and Anxiety, Wilhelm Reich described the biophysics of emotion, concluding, on the basis of his series of experiments, that the objective movement of charges in the body is what we subjectively feel as emotion. Movement of charge toward the periphery of the body is felt as well-being and a sense of all being well with the world, while contraction toward the interior of the body is felt as anxiety.

The energetic functioning of the atmosphere is fundamentally the same as in the living body. In both, there is a constant pulsation, with charge moving between the poles of expansion and contraction. When the atmosphere is in the expansion phase of the cycle, there is bright, clear, sunny weather. When it contracts, there will be rain. The stronger and longer-lasting the contraction, the more severe the storm.

When there is a strong and long-lasting expansion tendency in the atmosphere, there is a drought. A strong contraction will produce heavy, long-lasting rain. In a drought condition, the cloudbuster can be used to contract the atmosphere to produce rain. This is a standard operation, well-documented and well-known in the field.

Less well known is that anything a cloudbuster does to the atmosphere, it also is doing to the biosphere. All living organisms within range of an operating cloudbuster are affected  directly, in their energetic functioning, by the cloudbuster, in the same way as the energetic functioning of the atmosphere is affected. And that range can be quite extensive at time, up to hundreds of kilometers, depending on the weather conditions.

This is shown experimentally by the fact that two electrodes driven into the living bark of a tree have an electrical potential difference between them that shows instant changes when a cloudbuster starts to operate, even at a distance of hundreds of kilometers. The living system of the tree reacts to the change in the energetic continuum, and there is no reason to expect the systems of animal life-forms to not do the same.

This is borne out by the feeling of " brooding", tension, anxiety, and impending doom that is felt before the beginning of a strong storm, such as a hurricane or violent thunderstorm. The emotional sensations are the subjective perception of objective physical changes in bioelectrical potentials in the body in response to the changes in the atmosphere.

And the change in the atmosphere that happens just before a big storm is that the atmosphere contracts. It is a contraction that is the condition needed to produce rain. And that same contraction that causes rain to fall, when it induces a contraction of the biosystem,  produces that vague, non-specific feeling of tension, anxiety, and impending doom.

Now, a cloudbuster aimed straight upward will cause the atmosphere to contract. That contraction will extend in a rough circle surrounding the site of the cloudbuster for a distance that will gradually increase with the duration of the drawing operation. Depending on the length of time the draw is continued, the circle of contracted atmosphere can grow until it extends up to hundreds of kilometers across.

Then rain will begin to fall. That is, it will if the draw is continued long enough and there is not too much DOR around for rain to form. If there is too much DOR, it may not be possible to cause rain to form even with a prolonged  vertical draw. But even if there is too much DOR around to obtain rain, there will still be a contraction produced by a long vertical draw with a cloudbuster. And even if no rain results, that contraction can still have a bioenergetic effect on living organisms within the contracted circle.

And in the case of humans, that contraction of their systems will cause a brooding feeling of tension, anxiety, restlessness, and impending doom. Not all people will react the same way, of course, or to the same degree, but in general, on average, emotions of the sort related to tension will tend to predominate among the population of the area encompassed by the circle of contraction surrounding the cloudbuster.

There is a group based in Germany working at an oasis in Algeria with a cloudbuster. They are trying to "improve" the weather there for agricultural purposes, for an agricultural settlement of about 800 inhabitants. After I had published a series of criticisms of their operation, many of which had unwanted side-effects on either the local ecology or on distant places, they changed their method of operation to comply with what they thought were my recommendations. However, they did not tell me about this, nor did they ask me for my advice.

They started doing only vertical draws, hoping that in this way they could avoid the lateral, point-to-point motion of air masses across the surface of the earth which I had warned them was causing the previous problem of side-effects in distant places. I do not know for how long they continued doing these operations, but the approximate time of year they started can be determined. It coincides neatly with the start of the uprisings of civil unrest in North Africa which became known as the "Arab Spring".

Did the social unrest and civil strife that engulfed the region have an origin in a contraction of the atmosphere caused by a cloudbuster? Did those highly emotional upheavals by previouly placid populations stem from a miscalculation by a group who had no idea that their cloudbusting operations could do anything else besides bring rain?

I consider it very likely. And as more and more people all over the world take up cloudbusting, we can look forward to other such outbreaks of mass unrest fed by atmospheric tension in the future.

Guest Article By Petros Evdokas And My Response

February Observations in the Atmosphere

The month of February 2012 in Cyprus, our small island country in the
Eastern Mediterranean, proved to be very fruitful and beneficent from a
conventional point of view and fascinating from the Orgonomic point of view.

I grew up in the nineteen sixties. During those years of my childhood I
learned a lot about the weather from our elders; society was still
closely knit at the time, and there was a lot of knowledge that was
"collectively owned" by the community (the knowledge existed "in the
public domain" we would say today). It was passed along among people and
specifically from one generation to the next. There were several
overlapping cycles that included direct observation of nature, direct
exchanges among people, learning, teaching, interacting and circulating
feedback and direct experiencing that confirmed and sustained this
knowledge. It was unmediated - there were no Corporate or State media to
distort or shape this body of knowledge during that period.

During my childhood years there were a few incidents of dust that
appeared in the atmosphere in Spring, stuck to humidity and forming a
dense kind of fog. It would last between a half day and two days, at the
most. The elders said that it was a natural phenomenon that occurred
once or twice every three to five years. And indeed, that's how frequent
it was.

The elders also said that *their* elders had passed along the knowledge
that this dust was suspected to come from the Sahara, but that "only God
knows, really" the source of this weird thing. Within one generation,
through the expansion of regional and global meteorological knowledge,
airplane observations and satellite photography, this suspicion of the
elders was confirmed.

This rare appearance of Saharan dust used to clear up completely either
by subtle winds or light rain; sometimes - very rarely - it triggered a
heavy rain that washed out the atmosphere. Sometimes, and I remember
this vividly, the dust was rusty and the rain was a horrific blood red
that ran along the streets in rivers. It looked like violent rivers of
blood. Biblical associations with the Plagues of the Pharaoh were
inevitable.

Always after this kind of atmospheric response to the dust, a bright dry
blue clear sky would ensue, and the joyous feeling of Spring would
return to animals and people.

As I grew up, this phenomenon changed. There was nothing in the stories
of the elders to match it. The dust  started coming later in the year,
during the transition from cold to hot weather. Sometimes it would
appear in late Spring, and even in the Summer. Atmospheric response was
more violent, with fast winds and occasional thunder and lightning
storms bringing torrential rains.

The duration of the effect became longer as well. It extended from to
two to four days sometimes.

In the decade of the nineties and then in the first decade of the new
century, things got worse. The dust would come more frequently and be
suspended in the air for a longer time, and atmospheric response would
vary from nothing to mild to inefficiently weak. Dust would appear every
two to three years at first, then every year, and then several times
every year, usually toward the transition from cold to hot humid weather.

It would stick to the already polluted city air and to the humid air,
unmoving, block the Sun, choke up the air and cause stagnated breathing
to all living beings. Plants, animals and people got sick, and the
duration of the event might last up to a week; sometimes ten days.
Slight winds might clear it a little, but the sky would not clear well;
there would always remain a leftover dullness to the atmosphere, a
diffuse haze that rarely left. In this last decade, even if a rare rain
would erupt in association with the dust, it was not enough to clear up
the sky and the stagnation would resume within one or two days.

A large number of factors may have contributed to reducing the local
atmosphere's ability to self-regulate, and these are local, regional and
global:
o-     Polluted air in the cities from cars and in the countryside from
irresponsible agricultural practices and open surface mining of the
earth; the stationing of nuclear weapons on the island; extensive
deforestation due to war (burning down of forests and failure to restore
them) plus "development" that has reduced cultivated lands and increased
built up areas extensively; the construction of several large dams
creating stagnant Orgone and air zones above and to their east; expanded
pollution in Europe and some in Northern Africa; and the global climate
change that has affected everything.

o-     I would add some factors that I'm not sure of, like the long term
cloudbusting project we've learned of that took place in Algeria by
well-intentioned but probably misguided volunteers there, which must
have set up a blockage to the southeastern natural flow of Orgone toward
Cyprus, somehow contributing to larger amounts of dust to come our way,
but lessening the atmospheric Orgone flow that enabled our skies to be
self-regulating in the past.

o-     Also, the extensive US bombing of Iraq with radioactive uranium
weapons, in addition to ruining the local natural and human environment
and causing confirmed multiplication of cancers and respiratory illness
in Iraq, has set up a blockage of the natural stream atmospheric Orgone
and air in the area. I don't know the extent to which this might be
causing a backed up accumulation to the West of it, where Cyprus is
located.

By the years 2006 and onwards, increased numbers of people were
reportedly dying of heart attacks, asthma and other respiratory distress
related illnesses, both at home and work and in the hospitals during the
Saharan dust incidents. Cortisone and bronchio-dilator inhalants became
the new medical fad, and a whole new generation of children became
diagnosed with chronic bronchiolitis, bronchitis and asthma, and lived
almost year-round on these deadly medicines.

In the Summer of year 2010, during a stagnated Saharan dust incident
that lasted about ten days a group of us did an atmospheric intervention
for a few hours that brought a very light rain and atmospheric relief
that lasted all season.

In the year 2011 we witnessed a few dust incidents, but less in number,
and less severe in persistence than in previous years.

November of 2011 was a phenomenal month. Almost during the entire month
we had bright sunny clear skies with a delicious Orgone blue reigning
over good moods in all, light breezes... and a delayed Winter.

While the quality of the sky in November was very reminiscent of the
clarity and lightness of my childhood year, signaling a return to
natural processes, the delayed Winter was not so natural. Winter was
delayed in all of Europe, causing a lot of environmental damage,
including deaths of hibernating bears and reptiles due to food shortages
and other effects on crops, vegetation, insects, etc.

Finally Winter came... with a vengeance. It's been one of the worst
Winters in our history. Many hundreds of people died in Europe and
Western Asia from cold and other weather-related factors. In Cyprus,
this Winter was one of our coldest ever, and on the last day of February
it snowed for hours in Lefkosia~Nicosia, the capital - an unheard of
phenomenon.

During February there were four incidents of Saharan dust. What is
remarkable about them is the swiftness and efficiency of the local
atmosphere's response. Two of the incidents were cleared up within half
a day with light wind and light rain. Another one lasted a whole day,
and was cleared up by a rainstorm. A fourth one lasted two days, during
which there was constant reaction by the atmosphere from the beginning
of the event and succeeded in clearing it with winds, rain, and a
lightning storm.

I marveled at our atmosphere's ability to react so healthily, quickly,
efficiently!

Trying to understand this glorious resurgence of a self-regulating
atmosphere in Cyprus, I'm stuck with either not enough explanations, or
with too much theorizing that may be unfounded. Nevertheless, I feel
it's useful to explore these ideas.

I don't think that the small intervention we did in 2010 is enough to
account for this atmospheric restoration. I'm aware of course that
cloudbusting has influences over large distances both in space and time,
but I can't see that particular action as being so powerful; it was
mild, short, and the effects that I could measure may have lasted only
for a few months, perhaps a year at a maximum. (Unless there are other
parameters that I'm not aware of.)

One factor that I think needs to be taken into consideration is that the
atmosphere is reacting on a global scale, and we don't usually think of
this as an active factor. Often in meteorology and in medicine cause and
effect are mixed up, misunderstood, or to put it differently,
conventional science (or linear, armoured thinking) has a hard time
separating them. For example, a fever is an organism's natural response
to an illness, but conventional medicine sees it as a primary part of
the illness. Same as in weather science: more violent storms, more
intense winters, are healthy atmospheric responses to an environmental
illness. Even global warming itself might be seen that way; it's a
natural response to unnatural conditions, or to shifted balances.

We're in a period of activated global atmospheric reactions to various
offences (radioactive and chemical pollution; large scale deforestation;
poisoning of the seas; environmental catastrophes of many levels and
types). To whatever degree the atmosphere is successful in restoring
balance on a global scale, we see some of that ability to
self-regulation trickling down to regional and local levels. I think
that our local atmosphere in Cyprus may have benefitted from this global
atmospheric response.

The most energetic responses seen in our region in recent years are the
European harsh Winters that seem to be intensifying each year. One
factor that I think is mostly ignored, that may have triggered
atmospheric responses in Europe is the US/NATO bombing of Yugoslavia
with radioactive uranium weapons during two wars in the nineteen
nineties that have poisoned the river Danube, surface and underground
waters, air, plant and animal life in all the Balkans. Atmospheric
reaction to this widespread radiation inevitably triggers the formation
of Deadly Orgone (DOR) and subsequent violent atmospheric responses in
nature - all this was shown in various carefully designed experiments
both in the lab and in the field by Wilhelm Reich. It would be gross
negligence for Orgonomists to ignore these events as being part of the
last few decades' weather and climate shifts.

These same factors have been at work in Iraq, the Balkans, and New
Mexico (where the radioactive uranium weapons were first tested out in
open spaces). And also during the emergencies triggered by the
radioactive accidents at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima.

Also, we've been informed (though not adequately), that the cloudbusting
in Algeria has recently been changed to a (perhaps permanent?) vertical
draw, which probably has less regional impact, freeing up the flow of
Orgone toward Cyprus, enabling better responses to the dust from the Sahara.

Other factors are the increased temperature differences, which enable
more violent meteorological events, which in turn release more energy
that's trapped in previously stagnant conditions. These releases come in
the form of thunder and lightning, intense rain, hail, violent winds.

And there may be factors we do not know, and may never come to know. For
example, I'm aware that Mossad, the Israeli covert intelligence
operations agency, has been involved for decades in cloudbusting
operations. But I don't know the extent to which they may be engaged in
regional, local or even global operations that affect our weather here.
And probably we'll never find out. Also, we don't know if their
operations are guided by any genuine knowledge of Orgonomy (which I
doubt), or if they are shaped by the same crude, callous and barbaric
way in which they treat the Palestinian people as part of their
genocidal ethnic cleansing operations, aimed in this case at subjugation
and enslavement of the atmosphere.

To all this, controversial enough as the Orgonomic point of view is
already, I must add another controversial element. It's that of mass
psychology. Within Orgonomy we usually accept the observation that a
stagnant atmosphere often corresponds to a psychologically or culturally
stagnant population. Usually we see this in the sense of cause and
effect; we say that a sick atmosphere creates a sick population.

But we don't often think of the reverse, i.e. of the effect that an
awakened, activated, joyous and energized population may have on the
atmosphere. In Old World history and in Native American oral traditions,
we find descriptions of events where large numbers of people congregated
in passionate states, or in states of altered consciousness or in
ecstatic states, have triggered dramatic changes in weather (I have
witnessed some of those events myself). Same as with events of large
scale slaughters, battles, or incidents with intense impact on mass
psychology: the history and the traditional lore of most of the world's
peoples record that such events sometimes have effects on the weather.

Along that line of thinking I must point out that in the year 2011 we
witnessed large mobilizations of the public in three large areas: in the
Middle East with what became known as the Arab Spring; in Europe, with
the movement of the Enraged; and in the US, with the Occupy movement.
I'm aware that images of the uprisings conveyed through the media are
mostly those of violent strife, anger and conflict (after all, the media
will utilize sensationalist images to further its own agenda for profits
and propaganda), but the truth of all these mobilizations is a lot more
joy, awareness, expanded consciousness, togetherness, solidarity,
bonding, and tangible love than we find anywhere within conventional
society's everyday events of business-as-usual.

For example the outbreak of Feminism and of more empowered roles for
women that colourised the mobilizations in Egypt, or the Direct
Democracy formations that developed in the streets and plazas of Europe
show that there's an active component of spontaneous Work Democracy, of
Orgonomic restoration taking place or erupting from below in these
societies and finding fertile soil in the community at large. This
fertile soil is a newly rediscovered sense of community, a new
appreciation for human bonds, an awareness of how precious the human and
natural environment is.

We had our own version of these mass mobilization events in Cyprus as
well, which combined some elements of all the movements mentioned above.
They were the largest spontaneous mobilizations in about a hundred
years. We may not have succeeded in creating paradise on earth, but it's
true that our mobilizations over the Summer of 2011 brought out into the
streets more communal solidarity, more passion for our fellow human
beings, more a sense of community bonding, volunteer spirit, compassion,
awareness, joy, humour, a population electrified to being more alive and
awakened than in many decades...  and all of this may also be impacting
the atmosphere's responsiveness.

All in all, there's no visible guarantee that the atmospheric
self-regulation we witnessed restored in Cyprus this February will
continue. Especially as the weather shifts toward the warm and hot
seasons, we might discover new obstacles, or that the impact of some
environmental distortions has never subsided.

But for now, the prospects look good.

Wishing bright deep blue Orgone skies to all,

And My Response:

Thank you, Petros, for a very helpful contribution. I think you brought out several very important points and your descriptions of the atmosphere are very insightful.

I have a few reservations about two of the things you said. For one thing, I doubt the Mosad has done any cloudbusting. I once asked the late Rafi Rosen, who did a very good cloudbusting project at a kibutz called Hasoelim, in the north of Israel in the early 1960s, if he had heard of them doing any cloudbusting. He said nobody had ever asked him about it, and since he was an Israeli reserve army officer, they would have no reason not to trust him and would reasonably have been expected to consult him for his experience in the field.

I also spoke to Gad Assaf, a meteorologist at the Weisman Institute, the Israeli government research organization, who had observed Rafis' operations and wrote a favorable report urging the Weisman Institute to fund further research on it. They did not do so. Dr. Assaf seemed quite discouraged and bitter that his superiors had ignored his advice. He has since left Israel and was living in the United States the last I heard.

Two of the former Kibutz members who had worked with Rafi, Joe Liebner and Joey Richter, also told me they had never been able to get the Israeli government to take an interest in cloudbusting. So if the Mosad was interested in cloudbusting, they were ignoring the most knowledgable and experienced people they had available to study it. That does not seem likely.

I also asked Victor Obstrovsky, the former Mosad agent who wrote a book exposing a lot of their dirty tricks if he knew of them doing any weather-modification experiments. He said he had never heard of anything like that in his years in the Mosad. As the author of a book exposing stuff the Mosad wanted to cover up, and that the Israeli government tried to have banned, he is not likely to be covering up for them.

The late Jerome Greenfield, who wrote a biographical book on Reich and his legal case, also had not heard from his contacts in Israel of any interest in cloudbusting. Greenfield was a genuine Zionist terrorist, having been a member of the group that blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in the 1948 fighting, killing more than 100 British Army officers, so his contacts in the Mosad would probably have been very good.

All in all, I have never seen any convincing evidence of serious interest in cloudbusting by any agency of any government. Such rumors circulate about the US government and the Russian government too, but there is nothing to them as far as any solid evidence goes.

I know Jim DeMeo did cloudbusting in Israel in the early 1990s, and that was funded by Philadelphia real estate billionaire Richard Fox, one of the most active hard-core right-wing lobbyists for Israel in the US, but I suspect he was more attracted to DeMeos' anti-Islamic politics than interested in cloudbusting.

The operation was a disaster, causing an extreme cold wave as far south as Kartoum, and that was then carried on the west-to-east flow of the atmosphere all the way to India. DeMeo was getting help from orgonomists in Greece and Germany to draw down cold air from the Baltic across Europe to the eastern Mediterranian.
By the way, you left out one more large-scale nuclear disaster: the 1958 explosion at a Soviet nuclear site in the Urals. That one was actually bigger than Chernobyl, but the USSR was able to cover it up at the time.

The report you mention of the people in Algeria doing a prolonged vertical draw was based on an e-mail to me from Harold Kautz-Vella, the public relations officer for the Algerian Desert-Greening Project. I do not know any more about it than that.  I explained in my post to this list how I think a prolonged vertical draw might have been a contributing factor in the socio-political tensions that broke forth in several North African countries in a short time following the change in cloudbusting procedures in Algeria.

However, I have not seen any reason to think sociopolitical emotions would influence weather. It is more likely to be the other way around: that the emotions of large numbers of people are affected by atmospheric conditions. Any effect on weather of such a small input as bioenergetic effects from human emotions would be too small-scale to matter, though it is certainly theoretically possible for such an effect to exist and if shown to exist, could be fully explained by bioenergetic field effects, without recourse to any mysticism or alleged "mental" phenomena. In any case, I would like to see convincing evidence before forming any conclusions.

In America, this past year, the weather has been unusual too. A long drought in the southwest was probably caused initially by the intensification of the long-standing blockage in the southwest by the general weakening and stagnation caused by Fukashima, then followed and prolonged by someone trying to divert hurricanes away from the Carribean and the Gulf Coast. Those hurricanes are the normal annual means by which the atmosphere is cleansed of DOR far inland, and without them, the stream of energy bearing the summer monsoon from the southwest has a hard time fighting it's way into and past Arizona.

In the absence of the normal annual cleansing hurricanes, tornadoes formed as a reaction to the high level of DOR, and there were a lot more of them than usual, and they happened far outside their normal range.

That is happening again this past week, as the continuing high levels of DOR irritate the atmosphere into discharging via a strong circulatory motion, complicated by another factor: I suspect  someone in Arizona is using a cloudbuster to move the jet stream off-course, adding added energy to the already over-charged system and making it more prone to sudden strong discharges in the form of tornadoes.

Both hurricanes and tornadoes should be looked at as beneficial, the healthy response of the atmosphere to an irritant, a healing process the atmosphere needs to go through. Anyone attempting to vandalize these vital processes, regardless of how they might rationalize their actions, should be regarded as attacking the earth and attempting to murder it.

Suspected Cloudbuster In Australia

ANOTHER reason to object to indiscriminate weather modification attempts: Nobody can know how many OTHER people in the same area are ALSO trying to do the same thing. With an unknown number of operators unknown to each other all working in the same area at the same time, the results would be chaos even if all of them were capable and well-qualified.
I do not know how many cloudbusters are operational in Australia at this time, but given the availability on the internet of descriptions of how to make a cloudbuster, there must be quite a few.
In addition to the warnings of potential dangers, it might interest at least some of the people who are operating or thinking of operating, to know that in Australia, weather modification is considered to be prohibited by environmental protection laws unless a specific act of the legislature is passed exempting a particular project. Such exemptions have been passed, but only for government agencies, not for any private-sector projects such as exist in America, where commercial cloudseeders have tended to dominate the field.
These laws were passed with cloudseeding in mind, but they do not say they only apply to cloudseeding; they are worded to apply to any method of weatrher modification. So cloudbusting is illegal in Australia. There is no risk of prosecution at this time, since the effectiveness of the cloudbuster is still in dispute, but if it should ever become officially recognized, operators would then be subject to prosecution. And there is no statute of limitations on homicide cases.

Colors In The Sky

The colors of a cloud are due to the degree of excitation of the orgone energy in the cloud. They can be used to give an aproximate idea of how excited the energetic continuum is and from that it can be estimated if it is being excited artificially or not.
Bill Moise, Eva Reich's husband, was an artist. Reich said he was the best cloudbuster operator because he was accustomed to noticing slight variations in coloring and light intensity in the sky that most people would neglect.
Artists, along with animal trainers, gardeners, and kindergarden teachers, make the best cloudbuster operators. Engineers and physicists make the worst.

Answer To A Question About The Croft Device

A correspondent wrote to me and asked a question pertaining to the so-called "chembusters" used by Don Croft and his followers. Here is my answer:
The whole chemtrail business would be nothing but a silly joke if not for a con-artist named Don Croft, who gets his kicks from seeing how fantastic he can make a tall tale and still get people to believe in it. The chemtrail rumors existed before he got into the business of thinking up new and more exagerate spin-offs, but his mixing cloudbusters into the fantasy made it dangerous instead of merely stupid.
The majority of chemtrail believers are not Croftians. Most of them are just innocent dupes who tend to believe every conspiracy theory they hear of because when they were small children they wondered what Daddy and Mommy were doing in secret with the bedroom door closed and they never did find out. At least they never did find out in a way they could process and assimilate.
Yep. A Freudian explanation. So years later, as adults, they still think Big People are doing Something Bad in Secret. That is why conspiracy theories tend to attract people on the far right of the political spectrum; The reason people are attracted to them is the same reason they are attracted to the political Right: sexual repression.
But Croft and his followers, or at least his followers, since there is some doubt he himself really belives his tall tales, have turned this otherwise harmless nonsense into a role-playing game in which they are the heroes, fighting off invading enemies from outer space. And using cloudbusters as a weapon in their cosmic battle fantasies. It is all silly childish stuff lifted straight from kids videos and comic books, and if not for the incorporation of cloudbusters into the game, would merit no attention.
Croft claims to have invented a "new, improved" form of cloudbuster, which is a sure sign he has no understanding of how a real cloudbuster works. He obviously never read much by Reich, only the Trevor Constable commercial promotional material written by Constable to throw rivals off the track of how he was really doing what he did. Croft also stole the idea of a mix of resin and metal shavings from a radionics salesman, Karl Weltz, and calls it "orgonite" There is no reason known to orgone biophysics to think it does anything, but he claims it is the greatest thing since Reich invented the orgasm.
The gadgets Croft & Co. call "cloudbusters", or sometimes "chembusters" are not real cloudbusters. And even if they were, they could not do the things Croft claims they can. If they were connected to an orgone concentration, meaning a real orgone accumulator, not a lump of "orgonite", the tubes would act as the tube connected to an accumulator does, which is what Reich called an orgone "shooter". That is a misnomer. An orgone shooter does not "shoot" anything. The orgone in the accumulator is ATTRACTED through the tube TOWARD the stronger field of the body of a patient.
To actually affect the atmosphere, a cloudbuster has to be grounded into water. Since the Croft devices are not grounded, they are not able to affect the atmosphere. At least, they are not able to DRAW. Jim DeMeo claims they DO have an effect of EXCITING the atmosphere and that can cause an expansion and produce a drought. He may well be right. I do not know if he has tested a Croft device or not, though Croft says he ordered one from Croft. But Croft is not a reliable source of information.
DeMeo and I do not often agree, but on this, we do. And if DeMeo is right about the Croft gadgets causing over-excitation of the atmosphere and making it expand, which is the pre-condition for a drought if it lasts long enough, there is a really BIG problem going on because, unlike a real cloudbuster, at least when operated by anyone who knows what they are doing, the Croft gadgets are usually left in one position for prolonged periods of time, and if they really do cause an expansion, it would block the normal pulsation of the atrmosphere and leave it "stuck" in the expansion phase of the cycle, and that would soon turn into a drought.
Usually, when I write anything about cloudbusters and speak of people using cloudbusters, I am refering to the REAL cloudbusters, as invented by Reich in the 1950s and not improved on since. There are probably at least several hundred of them around, though not all operating at any one time. If there were several hundred real cloudbusters all operating at the same point in time, this planet would not survive.
But there are probably several thousand of these idiotic players in the Croft role-playing game fooling around with their silly improvised gadgets and thinking they are heroes protecting the earth from invading reptiles. And they will not be easily convinced they are really causing droughts instead.

Algerian Desert-Greening Project Does Vertical Draws

Here is the relevant exerpt from the letter from Harold Kautz-Vella in which he says they have been doing only vertical draws recently, since I pointed out they were shifting air masses north or south by drawing from those directions, and causing trouble in Europe by doing so. He apparently thought they were doing what I would have advised them to do by doing only vertical draws, but he still says nothing about doing DOR removal operations, which is what I would have actually advised them if they had asked me.

I would also have suggested they should be working from the right location, at the place where the DOR barrier is that causes the desert, not right in the center of the desert. That is what Reich found in Arizona. He worked for months in Tucson with little results, then moved the cloudbuster to Jacumba, right under the barrier, and that was when he finally got results.

The barrier obstructing inflow of Atlantic moisture into North Africa is over the Canary Islands, and if I was going to try greening the Sahara, that is where I would want to start from. But I would also want to work on the Indian Ocean island of Socotra, where the navigation charts for pilots show a 9 degree compass deviation caused by the degausing of the earths' magnetic field at that point by the discharge of a cosmic lightning bolt triggered by the close proximity of Phaeton, the giant meteor that ended the Climatic Optimun around 5,360 years ago. That barrier would also have to be weakened to allow the energy streaming in from the west to have someplace to go.

But the Agerian project is being done at an oasis in the interior of Algeria because that is where Madjid's wife's family is from and he was visiting there when he was told by God to do a cloudbusting project there. In my opinion, God should have known better. If I ever am elected god, I will do a better job than the present god does.

For one thing, I would have a better idea of how that atmosphere works and would not suggest doing a project in the wrong place just because my earthly servant happens to have in-laws who live there. And for another thing, if I was a god, I would not choose someone to do my work who offered me burning cow manure.

Dear Joel,

We personally had discussions about ecology a while ago and agreed
that the only reasonable approach is to use the cloud buster localy,
no pulling from any direction, not north, not west, not south, not
east, just clearing up the athmonshere locally. Just straight to to zenith.

How can you say we didn't consult a professional when you
yourself who obviously knows everything better that any other living
being on earth was consulted?

I kind of was happy somebody out there warns amateurs not to mess
around with climate, please do your homework and be carefull not to
turn into a grumpy old man.

With best regards

Sharks And Hurricanes

Fit for the Emperor’s Banquet?

The following link is to an article on the importance of sharks to maintaining life in the oceans, but the same problem faced by the defenders of sharks is often a problem to defenders of tornadoes and hurricanes. To the ignorant, natural predators like sharks, and natural processes like hurricanes are often seen as mere "disasters" that the world would be better off without. In reality, we need them and could not live without them.

As the movement to protect sharks gathers support and gradually gains public acceptance, we can take it as an inspiration and hope to see the day when hurricanes and tornadoes will also have their defenders, educating the public to understand how vital these natural processes are to the survival of all life on earth.

Fit for the Emperor’s Banquet?

The Track Of The Hurricane

On the east coast of North America, there are usually several hurricanes a year. Hurricanes are caused by cosmic forces having to do with the position of the earth in space, but the track they follow is determined by local atmospheric conditions on earth.

They stay out at sea and do not come to shore if there is little DOR over the continent. In years when there is a lot of DOR, they are attracted by it and veer inland. They then serve the need to reduce DOR, but if there had not been a high concentration of DOR over the land mass, the hurricane would have remained at sea and not hit land.

So anyone who wants to protect the land from hurricanes should not try to steer them away from the coast with a cloudbuster. If that were successfull, there would still remain a DOR problem that the hurricane would otherwise have solved. The proper procedure with a cloudbuster would be to do DOR-removal operations. If that were done successfully, the next hurricane would stay away from the land.

The Balkans

The situation in Southeastern Europe is very bad. In the war in the 1990s, a lot of radioactive dust was released by the use of artillery shells made of recycled nuclear reactor fuel rods. This type of ammunition is called "depleted uranuium" and the radioactive poison it causes is permanent. It is being used now in Iraq and Afganistan, and has also been used in Australia, as well as in North America, for testing and training purposes.

The long-term biological effects will be felt forever. And the meteorological effects on the atmosphere will also. There will forever continue to be more than normal numbers of still-births, miscarriages, childhood cancer, and birth defects, as well as droughts and ultimate desertification in the parts of the planet that have been subjected to this kind of attack.

Possibly adding to the problem of radioactive contamination, is the proliferation of these pseudo-cloudbusters  being deployed by followers of Don Croft and his role-playing game. I do not have any personal experience with the Croft devices, and cannot say how much effect, if any, they may have, but if they do anything, it would almost certainly be to make a drought worse.

How many of these things are there in the Balkans? How many people are there in that part of Europe who  are  using them? Would any of them listen if someone asked them to take down their equipment for a time to see if that would releive the drought? Or would such a request only make them hostile and suspicious towards the person suggesting that?

The PROPER and INTELLIGENT use of the cloudbuster could help the area recover, at least in a large part. But the present situation, where a large, but unknown number of ignorant individuals who really know nothing about orgone energy or cloudbusting except a few bits of misinformation they have learned from websites and discussion forums about "chemtrails" and other such non-issues, are likely to attempt to take matters into their own hands and build themselves a cloudbuster, will not help. It will only make things worse.

There are a few people in Europe who know enough about cloudbusting to be able to do something without too much risk of making the problem worse. But none of them happens to live in the Balkans.

And, as always, most people have jobs and families to support, and have to earn a living, so not many can just take time off from what they are doing to go someplace to do cloudbusting where it needs to be done. The only way that could be done would be if somebody was able to pay them enough to make up for not working at their regular job during the time they would have to spend on a cloudbusting expedition.

It is a bad situation, and is only going to get worse as the earth becomes more contaminated with radioactivity and more incompetents take up cloudbusting, or pseudo-cloudbusting, from irresponsible websites that promote it as a form of self-agrandizement.

The "Free Energy" Movement And The Promotion Of Cloudbusting

There is a movement, based mainly, but not exclusively, on the internet, of people with usually little or no formal science education, or whose science education is in some field other than physics, who think it is possible to build what used to be called a perpetual motion machine, usually now re-named by them, a free energy, zero-point energy, or vacuum energy, or over-unity machine. Such claimants have existed for centuries, despite the efforts of scientists who have actually studied the subject, to educate the public about why this is considered impossible. But now, with quick and easy communication on a global basis, these formerly isolated individuals have come together into a well-defined movement.

This movement is not, as might be expected, composed mainly of inventors who think they have invented something. It is composed of maybe 5% such inventors, and 95% fans and hangers-on of such inventors. And it has come to include much more than mere claims to free energy inventions.

The free energy movement comes as a part of a package. The package include the belief in a conspiracy theory that is used to explain why none of these alleged inventions has yet been brought to market. This theory says that any new, worthwhile, and important technology is automatically fought and supressed by the Big Bad Establishment, the oil companies and other Forces of Evil that control the world.

Once they have accepted one conspiracy theory, namely that the oil companies are preventing the adoption of free energy devices, it is a small step to accepting other conspiracy theories, such as that the government is somehow secretly controlling the weather with some undisclosed weather control device, or that someone is secretly spraying toxic chemicals from airplanes as a part of some secret plot.

Believers in one conspiracy seem prone to believing in all of them and no evidence is required to convince them once they have accepted the basic premise that Something Bad is being done in Secret by Powerful People for some Bad Motive.

There are other components of the movement also. It is a part of this culture to think that any and all new technologies are good and should be developed and used. There is no understanding of all the potential for harm to the environment or to the public health, or danger to the privacy and other rights of individuals that may be caused by the introduction of some kinds of new technolgies. In fact, the impression one gets from the prolific writings of this sub-culture is that, ignoring the fact that most environmental problems are caused by modern technologies and that almost all modern technologies have a downside and have added to environmental destruction,  they think all environmental problems could be solved by new technologies, usually of a energy-source nature.

A part of the same package of unexamined ideas is that there would somehow be great benefits for the environment if some new source of energy was invented. When examined carefully, this always turns out to be a fallacy based on the perception that the most important form of environmental degradation aside from nuclear power reactors is combustion of oil and coal. All other forms of environmental destruction are conveniently ignored.

None of these free energy advocates ever presents any reasoning to explain how or why free energy would lead to less mining of anything other than uranium, coal or oil, fewer trees being chopped down, less land in the tropics being cleared for farming, fewer fish being caught from the oceans, fewer members of endangered species being killed, fewer cattle being grazed on fragile rangelands, less chemical input to farmlands, fewer genetically modified crops, less microwave broadcasting filling our surroundings with damaging microwave radiation, or, most important of all, fewer humans on this planet.

Instead of directing attention to these real issues, the free energy advocates present themselvs as working to help save the environment by pushing for new sources of energy, despite the total lack of any reason to think such a new energy source, if indeed one were ever to be found, would do any good beyond reducing the production and use of the currently common forms of fuel.

An environmentalist saying that a new technolgy is dangerous and should not be used is demonized by these people as a part of the vast consiracy to supress new technology, not as a prudent individual who is thinking of potential harmful side-effects it might have. A person who thinks new technologies usually are taken up and used by the people who control society to increase their power, if he warns against introduction of some new invention, is thereby considered a tool of the very establishment he is warning against.

The people who inhabit the free energy community never have an analysis of social conditions beyond the conspiracy theory that a few powerful highly placed and greedy individuals are the problem. There is never any attempt to explain in sociological or mass-psychological terms how and why those few are able to control the masses. There is no analysis of how propaganda functions and why it is able to influence so many people the way it does instead of being instantly seen for what it is by most of them. There is never any critique of the system of private ownership of the means of production or of the land base upon which the public lives.

That system is regarded as a given. It is even defended, at least in relatively unsophisticated America, as a matter of personal "freedom". In fact, most of the free energy movement is on the far right of the political spectrum. Important indicators of this are that many of them claim to be "patriots", profess a religion, usually of a very conservative variety, and have no problem with inventors attempting to move into the wealthy classes they claim to dispise by comercializing their alleged inventions.

Many of the leaders of the movement, especially in America, are Libertarians, a far-right political party that, along with some admirable positions on civil liberties issues, advocates repeal of nearly all environmental protection laws. But despite that, many members of the free energy movement see no cognitive disonance between advocating suport of the Liberatrians and their professed desire to protect the environment, which they insist is one of the main motives for their promotion of free energy devices. And in spite of the blatant illogic, the rest of the free energy movement tolerates this inconsistant position without protest.

I know of no free energy inventors on the political left, and only one well-known follower of the free energy scene, who happens to be one of the very few women in the movement,  who has ever expressed a genuine concern for the environment, as opposed to hypocritically exploiting such concerns as a marketing tool to promote free energy.

If there was no such thing as a cloudbuster, these obvious cranks could be safely ignored, but since there is such a thing as a cloudbuster, they have become dangerous. It has become an increasingly important case of fallout from this cult of new technologies and allegedly supressed inventions that many of these people are attracted to cloudbusting because they think it has somehow been "supressed" by the same establishment they think is supressing new energy sources. So in their misguided fantasies, cloudbusting should be "made public" to "benefit humanity".

One of these misguided people wrote to me that the increase in population in the future will require weather control to feed them all. I asked him what he was doing to prevent that increase in population. Was he working on inventing a better form of contraception? Was he active in fighting against the malign influence of the religions that preach against birth control?

Needless to say, I got no response. He apparently simply accepts as a given that the population will increase and is not interested in anything being done about it. Possibly he himself belongs to one of those destructive, anti-birth-control religions that is bent on making the problems worse. Instead, his sole solution to the problem is to control the weather, not to put his claimed inventive abilities in the service of inventing a better method of controling human fertility to reduce the demand for weather control.

The attraction many of these free energy buffs feel to cloudbusting would not exist if the cloudbuster had been accepted by the mainstream scientific community from its' inception. In that case, it would lack the glamor and anti-establishment image that is what attracts them. It is the dramatic and unfortunate history of the cloudbuster and its' inventor that attracts their attention, not the invention itself and what it can do. It is the false association with their pet idea' fixe' of inventions being supressed by those in power that makes them take up cloudbusting. It is more a matter of doing something they imagine is forbidden than any real interest in what the weather does.

For that reason it is important to refute the conspiracy theories that swirl around cloudbusting. We who wish to protect the planet from the effects of irresponsible and incometent cloudbuster operators must take a firm stand against the pseudoscientific free energy enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists whose indulgence in fanasties of free energy and power-fantasies of weather control at the risk of the environment is now a major contributing factor in the Cloudbuster Proliferation Crisis we are facing.

So I must insist that there is no such thing as a working, practical free energy device, there is no general and all-pervasive conspiracy to supress any new inventions and technologies, and the few voices raised in warning against new technologies being introduced without comprehensive testing for potential side-effects are the voices of reason, not of people in power seeking to prevent "progress" for nefarious ends.

No government agency, military or civilian, of any government in any country has ever taken cloudbusting seriously enough to even look into it, let alone conduct practical operations with cloudbusters. And no attempt has ever been made by any government or any big business interests to supress cloudbusting by anybody for any reason. And the cranks who think otherwise are the ones who must bear the burden of proof.

I would suggest that if any of these people really would like to help the world, they should direct their energies to changing the social and economic system, encouraging the habit of critical thinking, and waging war against the common irrationalities of religion and populist politics that are the real roots of social and ecological problems, not to inventing new technolgies while leaving the same old social order in place.

Cloudbusting has become a backyard hobby for anyone with access to the internet to learn in a half an hour how to build a cloudbuster. They are then free to dash out and start playing with this new toy to their hearts' content. And they have already done great harm to this fragile planet and unless they are stopped, they will do more.

So these technophiliacs and their free energy movement are a threat to the environment and all concerned environmentalists will do whatever they can to combat this delusional system that incites them to cloudbusting.

Another Claim Of Electronic Weather Control

The news today is that yet another "new" method of "weather control"  has been reported, this time from South Africa. The Peswiki website of Sterling Alan, an advocte and promoter of so-called "free energy" devices, claims that an inventor in that country working on such an energy device reports effects on the weather from it.

Johan's Free Energy Charger Trips up the Weather? -

This reminded Mr. Alan of the similar claims by David Wells, the founder of a cult of weather control fanatics called the Weather Rangers, who fantasize that they can become superheroes, saving innocent people from bad weather.

Mr. Alan is right: the phenomenon is the same. But it has nothing to do with weather control. What it has to do with is weather DESTRUCTION. And it is nothing new. It has been well-known and frequently described in publications on orgone energy for over 60 years. Anyone familiar with the writings of Wilhelm Reich from the 1950s would immediately recognize what was happening.

Any strong electromagnetic field will disrupt the weather. Effects have been noted from high-tension powerlines, radar, microwave, radio, and TV installations, and large transformers. So it is not a surprise that some of the same type of effects are sometimes seen by inventors monkeying around with electrical devices of their own design.

The most frequently described effect is the destruction of small clouds. That is what is usually seen first and gives the crackpot inventor the impression he has found a way to "control" weather. It is a symptom of the authoritarian personality that this is so often seen as a method of "control", not for what it really is, a  disruption of a naturally functioning system.

The control-freak will then go on to fantasize that he can do other things, such as create clouds and storm systems. Usually that is only a fantasy, but sometimes there can be other side-effects of his running his gadget for too long a time. These can sometimes include induced rainfall, which results from over-exciting the atmosphere until it reaches a limit and contracts suddenly and sharply. The contraction will sometimes cause rain, furthering the control freaks' impression that he is "in control" and that his device "caused" the rain.

If the operation of the device goes on long enough, there can also be a build-up of excitation in the neigborhood to a point that distant storms are attracted to the area, further creating the illusion of being "in control" and able to "attract storms".

Missing from this control-freak thinking is any clear understanding of what the atmosphere is and how it normally functions. Instead, the crackpot inventor, usually someone with little or no scientific education, dreams up his own "theory" of how the atmosphere works and what his invention is doing to cause these results.

Such "theories", invented ad hoc by people with no understanding of how the atmosphere really functions, are of no importance. The real reasons for the effects observed are well-understood in orgonomic circles, though seldom mentioned elswhere.

The atmosphere is not just a hap-hazard collection of inanimate gases, driven by differences in temperature, with raindrops condensing by happenstance around particles of dust. It is a finely-balanced system of integrated components that function according to a pattern. It has a structure and every portion of that structure has a role to play in the final effect. Disrupting the functioning of the atmosphere by any means is an attack on the lives of all living things within the range of the apparatus.

And that disruption is not "control". It is destruction. The destruction of the natural weather of the region, upon which all life depends. Including that of the "inventor" who deludes himself into thinking that he is somehow now in "control". Building and promoting a device that disrupts the functioning of the atmosphere is on a par with building a device to remove oxygen from the atmosphere. It might be possible to do it, but only a criminally insane person would try.

The problem here is not only the existence of such devices. It is even more a problem of the mind-set that sees this kind of attack on the atmosphere as a form of"control" instead of recognizing it for what it really is: an attack. The crackpot inventor is incapable of understanding that what he thinks is a great invention allowing him to "control" the weather is really a weapon that he is using to interfere with the functioning of the atmosphere, and if his work goes on long enough, ultimately, to destroy it.

Cloudbusters, Airplanes, And The Law

I keep hearing from Libertarian ideologues who tell me they want to see the earth protected, but disaprove of using the government and legal system as a means of doing that. They usually advocate sticking to some other tactics, ranging from moral persuasion and setting a good example, to asassination, instead of resorting to laws and law enforcement to protect the environment.

There are many people who build their own airplanes at home and fly them for pleasure. The FAA has set rules about this. You can build your own airplane, so long as the plans you are using are of a model certified as airworthy by the FAA, but at certain fixed stages during the construction, it must be inspected by an FAA inspector. When it is finished, you must have it inspected by an FAA-certified mechanic before you can fly it. And of course, you must have a license to fly a plane.

I started taking flying lessons at the age of 15, so I tend to pay attention to anything I read or hear that concerns small aircraft.  And in all the time since, I have heard of only one case of someone building and flying airplanes illegally, without bothering to comply with the FAA regulations and without having a license. In fact, most home-builders are proud to have the FAA certify their work as good enough to fly and the certification is as eagerly sought after for that seal of approval and feeling of satisfaction as for the right to actually fly the aircraft.

The same goes for many private pilots who have no interest in working as pilots, but go on after getting a private pilots' license to add more ratings and get a commercial license because of the pride it brings them and the higher level of confidence they feel from having been able to qualify for it.

For some reason, the cloudbusting field is different. People who learn about cloudbusting, most often nowadays from the internet, frequently just build themselves a cloudbuster without ever even trying to contact anyone with expertise in the field to learn anything more about it than the sparse information, usually mostly misinformation, they can find on-line.

Then, with their frequently sub-standard equipment, often poorly designed and poorly constructed, they proceed to try it out, again without bothering to try to learn anything except the inadequate and usually wrong information on-line about how to use it. If any unlicensed person built and proceeded to fly an uninspected home-made aircraft with such a cavalier attutude, they would be commonly regarrded as reckless to the point of being suicidally insane.

And a cloudbuster is as hazardous to the health of the operator as an airplane can be, and the risk to uninvolved people on the ground is much greater. If your homebuilt aircraft crashes, chances are, only the pilot will be injured or killed, and at most, only a few people on the ground, but a mistake with a cloudbuster can kill hundreds, and impoverish thousands.

So, why do intending pilots and intending cloudbuster operators take such very different approaches to preparations for their sport? Why do we hear of so few cases of unlicensed pilots flying home-built aircraft, and so many of untrained operators using home made cloudbusters?

Why do most of the people who want to fly small airplanes as a hobby take pride in their ability to qualify for a pilots' license and are happy to see the FAA inspector come and take a look at their home-built aircraft to tell them if they are doing a good job, while most of the people who want to take up cloudbusting are strongly resistant to the idea of government regulation of cloudbusting and licensing of operators in the field?

Part of this tendency may be due to the unfortunate history of the cloudbuster and its' undeserved image as somehow connected with unorthodoxy, rebelliousness, and suspicion of government authority. Perhaps if the cloudbuster had been invented by some big university lab, patented and immediately put to widespread commercial use for a high price, and accepted at once by the scientific community, the anarchists and anti-government ideologists would never have bothered with it.

They do not seem to spend much time building their own illegal TV transmiters and broadcasting illegally. They seldom construct their own airplanes and fly them without FAA certification. But for some reason, the very people who distrust government the most seem to also be the people most often attracted to cloudbusting, and by their frequent refusal to conduct themselves according to ordinary standards of decent and responsible behavior in the field, make government regulation of cloudbusting more urgently needed than it would be otherwise.

There are plenty of grounds for distrusting the courts and the legislative process, but at this time in history there is no effective substitute. Either we shall have laws to protect the environment, and strict enforcement of those laws, or the environment shall not be protected.

This fact is universally recognized in the environmental movement, but somehow, when it comes to the people who have an interest in cloudbusting, it frequently seems to be disparaged in favor of libertarian and anarchist ideology. Or, rather, people with such ideologies, a relatively small proportion of the total population, seem dispropotionately attracted to cloudbusting.

In working on plans to address the dangers to the environment from cloudbuster proliferation, we have been concentrating on plans for lobbying for more and stronger laws to hold cloudbuster operators to higher standards, and stricter enforcement of laws already on the books that could be used against cloudbuster operators who fail to meet those standatrds.

We have also discussed ways, such as Citizens' Arrest Committees to make legal Citizens' Arrests, by which those laws could legally be enforced by private individuals and groups in cases where the law enforcement authorities fail to realize the seriousness of the problem and fail to take action.

What we will NOT do is surrender the most powerful tool to protect the atmosphere, the power of the legal system to punish violators, on the altar of libertarian anti-government ideology.

Those ideologues who try to tell us "it is wrong to resort to the state and its' courts" as one correspondent put it, will be disapointed in our response. Urging us to use some other, less effective, methods instead of "the state and its' courts" is nothing but a form of attack on the atmosphere since if we were ever so misguided as to yield to this argument, we would have no chance of preventing the enormous damage cloudbusters can do to the life support systems of the earth.

We need every tool in the toolbox, and the legal system, flawed and often unjust as it is,  is one of the most important tools we have. Like every other group working to preserve and protect this planet, we intend to make full use of it.

Letter From Petros Evdokas On The Balkan Weather Situation

Hello,

I'm of the same opinion as Joel that the radioactive bombing of the
Balkans in the two wars against the former Yugoslavia are the main
source of our problems. Nature is still in the process of trying to find
the appropriate response to the radioactive dust that has spread all
over the Balkans from the war.

It's as if a blockage of the normal flow of weather has appeared in the
area of the Balkans, and it's caused a backed-up (congested) and
stagnant region to its West, including the Alps. In the past, the Alps
and the Balkans used to be like the weather-machinery of Europe, taking
in the weather systems that normally flow in from the Atlantic and the
North, and turning them into local/regional land-based weather, allowing
for the formation of rain, snow and storms that help the atmosphere not
only interact with the ground, but also to discharge extra energy and
neutralize Deadly Orgone.

But not now. The system seems "stuck". I'm not quite sure what an
appropriate Orgonomic response might be (some sort of cloudbusting aimed
at restoring atmospheric self-regulation, of course); what I mean by
this is that even if the appropriate approach is found, it might take
many years of repeated operations to restore self-regulation because the
unnatural source of irritation is still there. As far as I'm aware of,
there has not been any cleanup of the radioactive dust. It's just left
to sit on the ground, seep into the groundwater and wash into the rivers
and seas. I'm aware that the Danube suffered a lot of environmental
damage this way.

All of the above applies to the Iraq area as well, which provides
another block and stagnated weather system to the East, causing more
back-up.

Cloudbusting And Cattle-Grazing

Droughts have always been frequent in the Western United States, and in recent years they have been more frequent and lasting longer than was historically to be expected. That is not too surprising.

The atomic bomb testing program in the 1950s and early 60s, in which the United States was attacked by the United States government with nuclear weapons more that 1,000 times, and the widespread use of nuclear reactors to generate electricity ever since then, now employing more than 100 reactors, has resulted in a significant increase in DOR in the environment.

An increase in droughts is only one of the inevitable results and unless a well-conceived cloudbusting program is instituted, can be expected to continue as long as the technological use of radioacxtivity continues.

Much of the West had already been under assault by another devastating form of attack for the past several hundred years, especially in the past 160 years or so. The introduction of cattle ranching, first by the invaders from Spain starting in the 16th century, and then by the American invaders who followed them in the 19th, has had a horrendous effect on the ecology of the entire West.

In addition to the direct devastation from the grazing itself, there are side-effects that do at least as much damage, including the deliberate extermination of predators by a government agency in the service of the cattle ranchers to protect the cattle, the construction of fences that prevent wildlife from following their normal instinctive migratory routes to more available food supplies in winter, and the drawing down of the water table by the numerous wells dug to provide water for cattle at places where no surface water is supposed to be.

The recent increase in frequency and severity of droughts has sometimes led to the understandable but naive suggestion that cloudbusters could be used to end the droughts and restore better climate conditions. That is perfectly true. The droughts are caused by build-up of DOR and it would be possible to reverse that trend with proper cloudbusting over a period of time. And since droughts have a harmful impact on nearly all forms of life in a drought-stricken region, from a strictly atmospheric standpoint, DOR-removal would be the right thing to do.

Unfortunately, things are a bit more complicated than that. The droughts, if they are severe enough and last long enough, can be expected to drive the cattle ranchers into bankruptcy and force them out of business. If a drought is ended by cloudbusting, the ranchers will survive to continue their attack on the West by raising cattle.

Droughts are indeed bad for all living things, but in many cases, cattle ranching is almost as bad, and often harder to get rid of. In the case of the current drought situation in the Southwestern United States, it would be foolish to employ a cloudbuster to end the drought, only to thereby inadvertantly protect the cattle ranchers from insolvency.

If the drought is allowed to go on long enough to drive the ranchers out of business, and then a cloudbusting program used to restore normal conditions, the benefits of such a delay would be greater than the harm from the greater duration of the drought. The elimination of the cattle industry would be a huge gain for the region and the eventual ecological recovery would be far more complete than if the drought were ended prematurely and the ranchers left in place to continue their assault on the land.

This is an example of the kind of wholistic examination of the issues that is needed in the cloudbusting field to take all relevant factors into account, not only metorological ones, but social and economic factors as well.

The following link will provide background information  to back up my contention that cloudbusting to end a drought in a region already under attack by cattle ranching should be delayed until the drought itself has ended the rancher's destructive attack on the ecosystem.

(US) Grazing Retirment Legislation on Daily Kos

The Rural Economic Vitalization Act
(<http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.uscongress/legislation.112hr3432>HR 3432),
recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, would
enable the voluntary retirement of federal grazing permits. Where
ranching would cease, significant improvement in wildlife habitat
would follow.
