Mission Statement

Cloudbuster Attacks On Planet Earth

Cloudbusting is a menace to the environment. Despite some claims to the contrary, cloudbusting is not a solution to environmental problems; it is a problem in itself, a destructive technology requiring a condemnatory response by the environmental movement.

Cloudbusting is not something new; it is already so comonplace as to be intolerable and an environmental movement to control this currently unregulated technology is needed to protect the public.

All over the world people are getting worried about what is happening to the climate. Each year, it seems, there are more and more extreme weather events of increasing severity and frequency. Records are being broken more often than ever before in recorded history. It is clear the climate of the entire world is becoming destabilized, less reliable, more random and chaotic, with droughts, floods, heat waves, and severe cold spells becoming the norm.

While there are several factors involved in this climatic breakdown, one seldom recognized major factor in this climate destabilization is the existence of a technological means to interfere with the natural movement of the atmosphere on a large scale. This device, called a cloudbuster, is simple and cheap enough to construct that in recent years hundreds of individuals all over the world, learning about it from instructions promiscuously posted on irresponsible websites, have taken it up as a backyard hobby.

Many of these individuals tend to be paranoid and delusional, and are using the cloudbuster as a sort of prop in a role-playing game, often imagining themselves to be fighting off hostile UFOs, resisting a secret government plot of some kind, or changing "bad" atmospheric energy into "good".

Many others claim they are "ending droughts", "making rain", or "doing research". They seem oblivious to the fact that the droughts they think they are ending resume as soon as they stop operating because the underlying cause of the drought has not been adressed. They fail to understand that the goal of proper cloudbusting is not to make rain, but to restore normal pulsation of the atmospheric energy so that, among other effects, rain will occur spontaneously as needed.

They ignore the rights of the people affected to be told what is being done to their environment and to have some say in the matter, and that subjecting people to a research program who have not given their informed consent is a human rights violation.

Some think they are "greening deserts", while in reality, they are subjecting the fragile dryland ecosystem to unusual stress from excessive rainfall in areas where all native life-forms are well-adapted to the prevailing conditions.

They usually have no idea of the scientific basis upon which the cloudbuster works, or fantasize, without evidence, that some wildly speculative theory of their own concoction is the better theory. Frequently they have little idea of what a cloudbuster is capable of, many of them, for example, thinking it only affects their local area.

As a result of these incompetent interventions in atmospheric dynamics, countless innocent victims have died and the environment has been seriously disturbed in numerous weather-related catastrophes.

Due to their paranoia they do not often communicate what they are doing to others working in the same field. Many of them, in fact, think they are the only ones doing anything with what they think is a somehow suppressed and secret invention. Many others are so arrogant they think nobody except themselves and their associates is able to conduct cloudbusting operations safely and properly, so they refuse to co-operate with those they deem "unqualified".

While there is certainly nothing secret or suppressed about the cloudbuster, it is regarded as crackpot by many of the scientific community, in large part because of the absurd fictions and folklore with which it has become surrounded. The fantastic legends of its' inventor, Wilhelm Reich, having been the victim of official persecution, or of some alleged conspiratorial plot, or having fought wars with beings from outer space, or having had meetings with Einstein, serve to distract attention from the serious issue of the menace of the cloudbuster he invented.

This large body of folklore functions to hide the reality of the cloudbuster as an effective, science-based tool and disguise it as a crackpot fantasy. It is perfectly right, in fact, the only rational response of anyone with even the slightest scientific education, to dismiss such a device as incapable of having any effect on the weather when it is presented wrapped in such packaging.

The failure to recognize the imput into the total atmospheric picture of this proliferation of crackpots playing around with cloudbusters means the scientists trying to understand the weather are misled into ignoring that a large portion of unusual weather events are being caused by this unsuspected form of technological intervention and instead think the climate changes now underway are being caused by some other factor, such as greenhouse effect from combustion products released into the atmosphere.

Any theory of what is happening with the weather and climate on this planet must take the social phenomena of a mass movement of cloudbuster hobbyists into account. And the environmental movement must mount an effective effort to counter this form of blatant interference with the atmosphere.

If and when cloudbusting is ever recognized by the scientific community as a science-based reality rather than a prop in a fantasy role-playing game, then it can be expected that official agencies will take over the job of protecting the public from improper use of the cloudbuster. But until then, it is up to concerned environmentalists to fill that role. Otherwise, until cloudbusting can be regulated, countless innocent victims will continue to die each year from cloudbuster-murder by crackpot Reichians.

And greenhouse gases from combustion will take the rap. The world is now facing serious economic problems at least partially caused by the mistaken belief that the atmospheric disorder caused by cloudbusting is due to a greenhouse effect instead, and numerous laws are in the process of being passed taxing or restricting fuel-burning activities in an effort to prevent weather disasters that are really being caused by cloudbusting and could only be prevented by restricting the use of cloudbusters.

Until effective regulation is in place, however, the few responsible people who are aware of the threat posed by cloudbusters must be ready and willing to take whatever action is needed to stop the use of cloudbusters in their home areas. Direct intervention by concerned citizens is often the only way to prevent serious harm to the earth and to the public, and this is one of those cases.

**************************************************************************************************

In recent years, as the internet has made it possible for anyone with a
computer to spread the word about anything they please, irresponsible
instructions for building cloudbusters have mushroomed and
cloudbusting is now second only to nuclear power as the worst environmental
threat.

Cloudbuster proliferation has become a major environmental problem.

The cloudbuster is a very simple, easy to construct device that can be used to help restore a sick, damaged atmosphere to normal self-regulatory functioning.

This re-establishment of natural self-regulation to the atmosphere when it has become damaged and stagnated is the goal of any properly-done cloudbusting project.

Unfortunately, many people fail to grasp this point. Anyone who uses terms like "weather engineering", "etheric engineering", "weather control", "rainmaking", and the like, does not understand this important factor in cloudbusting.

It is an unfortunate side-effect of cloudbusting that it can be misused to cause rain and can have other direct effects on the weather.

In recent years many environmentalists have expressed concern that the details of how to construct a cloudbuster are too easily available on the internet. There is a growing Orgonomic Ecology Movement that is concerned about unwanted consequences of cloudbuster interference in the weather and seeks to prevent cloudbuster proliferation and combat those individuals guilty of hubris who wish to intervene in the weather by this means.

The Orgonomic Ecology group exists to explore ways and means to stop the proliferation of cloudbusters and expose to public outrage the power-drunkards and control-freaks who are attacking our atmosphere with cloudbusters, however they may rationalize their destructiveness.

We will pull no punches. We will name names and fight back against the propaganda of the atmosphere abusers and their enablers.

We regard Atmosphere Abuse as similar to other, more personal, forms of abuse, such as abuse of children or animals. The psychology of the abuser is the same, and we intend to expose that pathology.

We seek to build an anti-cloudbuster movement that can bring to a halt the rapidly growing hobby of manipulating the weather by control-freaks who are unable to leave the natural world alone.

Please spread the word around about this blog and urge your contacts to read it and to pass it on to their own contacts also.

About Me

I have been very involved in orgonomy since 1967 and have done cloudbusting, oranur work and laboratory experiments with orgone accumulators, medical DOR-busters, and pre-atomic chemistry. I was a student of Dr. Eva Reich, the daughter of Dr. Wilhelm Reich, who invented the cloudbuster, and have a letter from her saying I have learned what she has to teach and she considers me "very knowledgeable in this field".

The Natural Recycling Of DOR

One of the fundamental characteristics of orgone energy is that water attracts orgone. A cloudbuster acts as a conduit to focus that attraction on a narrow point, so the attraction can be focused instead of being dispersed all over the broad area of the body of water. That makes the draw much stronger and it can be directed at a pin-point target area in the sky instead of at the whole sky at once.

Trees are a similar conduit, connecting the ground and the sky, but in a forest, there are a large number of trees, all drawing and at the same time, discharging, so the effect is to maintain a constant dynamic balance between the earth and the sky. This balance is in constant flux between poles, an alternating charge and discharge, in tune with the Schumann resonance of the atmosphere.

Deforestation removes that constantly pulsating dynamic balance, and the atmosphere is deprived of that system of feedback. But since there are multiple back-up systems in almost all natural environments, the lack of any single one of them is not as total a disaster as it would be otherwise. Clear-cutting or burning a swath of forest will not always by itself cause a drought, but if there are other factors tending in the direction of a drought, the lack of tall trees will make it worse and make recovery take longer. But deforestation does significantly cut into the ability of the atmosphere to recycle DOR and keep moving and pulsating. It is when a number of such interruptions in normal processes happen at the same time, that a major problem results.

Another part of the multiple systems of remobilizing stagnated orgone and restoring it to motility and therefore, to life, is moving water. Flowing water drags the atmospheric energy along with it, and if the flow is blocked, there will be less motion of the orgone in the area and stagnation, and in terms of weather, drought, will result. If the blockage is also accompanied by a large stationary body of water collecting behind a dam, that stationary body of water will add to the drought tendency by attracting orgone and holding it in one place instead of moving it along as a moving stream would do.

In natural conditions, the constant movement of water moving over the surface of the earth is one of the means by which nature recycles DOR back into motion. The constant attraction by trees, charging the ground, and discharging back to the sky again, is another such process that helps return DOR to a moving, healthy state. Under natural conditions, these processes are a very important part, though still only a part, of the atmospheric metabolism to keep the amount of DOR in check.

The annual hurricane season is another way in which nature removes DOR and helps the atmosphere keep moving. Hurricanes are preferentially attracted to areas where there is a higher concentration of DOR, acting as a corrective factor to recycle the DOR back into motion. In areas too far inland for hurricanes to reach, or at times of the year when hurricanes are not forming, when the amount of DOR builds up to too high a level, another response, in the form of a motor discharge called a tornado, will form and help the reprocessing of DOR along.

All these processes work together to keep the earth habitable. But in the present era, the humans are not only adding a lot of DOR to the atmosphere by their use of nuclear and electromagnetic energy technologies, but they are also at the same time, divesting the earth of a significant part of the ability to heal itself and get rid of the extra DOR by their damming most large rivers and clear-cutting forests all over the world.

Is it any wonder everybody hates humans?

knowledge of "I'm close to water". That tiny amount of water brings on
an effect that is disproportionally large - because it is moving!

A shocking - and contrary - thing happens when we enter a valley shaped
like that and feel nothing, or feel oppressed, "heavy", tired, easily
irritated. It took me forty years of hiking, camping, studying maps,
sitting to think and evaluating subjective sensations (mine and other
people's), to combine those experiences with the discovery that those
sensations usually come up when the valley contains dams. The amount of
water in those valleys is millions or billions of times the
amount of water in a tiny stream, and yet, instead of rejuvenating the
valley and its internal (local) atmosphere, if the water is stagnant in
a dam, the whole valley's environment is stagnant as well.

Instead of triggering the biological instinct of "I'm close to water",
the dammed-up valley generates the instinctual response "I have to get
out of here".

My response was:

Reich described the manner of trees dying from atmospheric DOR, from the top down and from the outermost tips of the branches inward, as indicating the atmosphere was the source of the problem. In eastern North America and in Europe, this type of illness, affecting whole forests, is usually attributed to acid rain caused by pollution from oil and coal, but it often occurs where the Ph of the rainwater is normal. In German it is called "waldsturben", or "forest death". A book published in Switzerland, The Petkau Effect, confirms Reich's hypothesis that radioactivity is the main cause.
Most of the major forest lands on this planet have been largely destroyed by cutting of trees, and the replacement of those trees by planting of tree farms does nothing to really replace the function of the missing forests. A tree farm is not a forest. It has only the skeleton of a functioning forest, not the interior "organs" in the form of understory vegetation, a full compliment of plant and animal life with all the countless organisms, from the very largest trees to the invisible microbes in the soil that provide fertility, that go into making up a forest ecosystem. A tree farm cannot perform the many functions of a natural forest with all of it's componants intact.
And, as you suggest, the remaining forests are overtaxed and no longer enough to fill their function of recycling DOR. And this at the very time when the amount of DOR in the atmosphere is increasing as a result of nuclear technology, and to a lesser, but still significant extent, the nearly universal use of high-voltage electromagnetic technology as well.
And at the same time, the other major natural system that also helps recycle DOR, the movement of flowing water, is also reduced by the construction of large dams on major river systems, preventing the moving water from entraining the nearby orgone and keeping it in motion. This amounts to a three-pronged attack on the atmosphere, with added DOR, fewer forests, and stagnant rivers, all adding up together to create an unprecedented threat to the continued functioning of the life energy on which the biosphere depends.

All these considerations show the countless interactions of all the parts of the biosphere and give an idea of the complexity of the natural world and the size of the task facing us as we attempt to combat the oranurization of the earth.

Response To A Correspondent.................

As is usual, you have come across the bogus pseudocloudbusters of the Croft Chemtrail game-players. I cannot stress too strongly that those things are not cloudbusters and if they do anything at all, which so far still remains to be seen, all they could do is make a drought worse. The real cloudbuster was invented in 1952 by Wilhelm Reich and there is no improvement yet. All claims of "new, improved" models are a hoax.
The resin and metal filings objects you mention are exactly what you called them: paperweights. They are not good for anything else. These unfounded internet tall tales are causing a lot of problems for anyone working seriously in this field. They are all over the internet and are the first thing anyone searching for information will find. The relatively few websites that give the real facts are much harder to find.
A con-artist named Don Croft has invented what amounts to a role-playing game in which the players are fighting off reptilian invaders from another universe with their "cloudbusters", which are a stripped down and bowlderized version of the real cloudbuster. He has these people convinced his Marvel Comics fantasy is real and they are living in his dream world. I have a number of articles on my blog about them and their devices. None favorable.
I have lived in California and know what the weather is like there. The cloudbuster could be helpfull, but in the wrong hands, it could be a further disaster. And there have already been plenty of those caused by incompetent cloudbusting by people who got their science education from the internet. Droughts, floods, and tornadoes have been caused by improper cloudbusting on so many ocassions I have lost count.
There are a few individuals around who do know what they are doing. And there are some books in the field. But at the present time, cloudbusting is more an environmental problem than a solution to problems. That situation will not change until it can be done in an organized co-ordinated way under supervision of an ecologist, not as a backyard hobby by wildcat operators who have no idea what to do. And that will not be for many years.
If you are an engineer you know how much you had to study to become one and how silly it would be for someone without having done that study to try to do your job. Well, why should it any faster and easier for someone with no training or study to do cloudbusting? Yet there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of hobbyists who think that having read on some website how to build a cloudbuster somehow qualifies them to go out and use it. It is as if someone was telling people, "Here's a scalpel, go out and try surgery on everyone in your neighborhood".

Cloudbusting, Cows, And Bull In Algeria

There is a Desert-Greening Project in Algeria that is attempting to use a cloudbuster to alter the climate of a region on the border of the Sahara Desert. It is led and organized by Madjid Abdelaziz, an Algerian engineer who has lived in Berlin, Germany, for over 20 years. The project, according to it's website, is attempting to improve the climate of an oasis in the Sahara for agricultural purposes.

The project is not in compliance with even the most basic environmental standards. The organizers of this project have never consulted with an ecologist, drawn up any environmental impact statement, or taken into account the needs of native plant and animal species that would inevitably be affected by a change in climate or by any spread of agriculture into previously unexploited lands.

This shows a remarkable level of ecological illiteracy and lack of sophistication about the most elementary safegards required routinely nowadays by any type of project that can be reasonably expected to impact the environment. Not surprisingly, there have been unwanted side-effects caused by poor judgement and lack of expértise.

The use of a Reich cloudbuster by this project is highly problematical, to say the least. Mr. Madjid and his associates have no real understanding of orgone energy functions in the atmosphere and as a result, several catastrophic side-effects have occured, including unusually severe heat waves in Europe which caused numerous deaths.

The employment of a cloudbuster by people who have only a most superficial knowledge of how it works or how to use it, and who have failed on more than one occasion to recognize the results of their activities can be expected to cause further problems in the future.

Operations have been done by this group that imported cold wet air masses down from the North Atlantic in winter, bringing rain to North Africa at the coldest time of year, harming native plant life adapted to warmer conditions, and helping invasive, non-native species brought from colder, wetter Europe to proliferate and dominate over the more cold-sensitive native species.

Other operations, drawing warmer air masses and weather fronts from south of the Sahael desert belt up to the Sahara had the predictable side-effect of pushing the hot dry summer air mass of North Africa further north, over Europe, where it caused an unprecedented heat wave triggering numerous fatalities. This side-effect was not noticed by the participants in the Desert-Greening project, who remained unaware of the connection between the heat wave and their work until I informed them of it.

More recently, after having been made aware of these blunders by my critical articles, the group has concentrated on doing vertical draws, apparently in the conviction that by avoiding lateral motion of air masses and weather fronts across the surface of the earth, they can avoid doing any harm outside their immediate target area. But the area that can be affected by a single cloudbuster is very large, up to 1,000 km. across, perhaps even more, depending on terrain features and climate conditions, and the contraction caused by a vertical draw will produce rain, but will do little or nothing to remobilize the stagnant, imobilized atmospheric energy field known as DOR that is the cause of the desert conditions.

However a vertical draw will contract the atmosphere in a wide circle centered on the cloudbuster, and the contraction will be induced in all living organisms within range. In all forms of animal life, including humans, the objective contraction of the biological energy of the system is subjectively perceived as a threat and anxiety and agitation result. The time-frame of the cloudbuster operations suggests the possibility that at least some of the political unrest in North Africa in the past year or so has been a reaction by agitated, anxious  human masses to the contraction of their energetic environment by the cloudbuster.

This effect of a cloudbuster-induced changes in the state of the orgone fields of the atmosphere on distant living organisms is not just speculation on my part. Reich attributed a prison uprising at a prison in Maine, about 90 miles ( 145 km. ) from his laboratory in Rangely, to agitation caused by his experiments involving exposure of highly concentrated orgone to radioactivity.

Electrodes inplanted in trees and connected to a volt meter show a distinct change in voltage potentials as soon as a cloudbuster starts operating, even at a distance of 200 km. or more. The Medical DOR-buster, which is an exact miniature of the cloudbuster, is routinely used in some forms of Reichian psychiatric therapy for the very reason that it can cause profound emotional effects.

The possibility of changes in the orgone field of the region having an effect, both physical and emotional, on people within a considerable distance is therefore not too far-fetched.

An additional issue is that the cloudbuster is grounded, as is shown on the project website, into a well at the oasis.  It is well-established in the cloudbusting field that the water used to ground a cloudbuster becomes saturated with the energy drawn into it. This was first published in 1961 by Charles Kelley, in his book-length report, A New Method Of Weather Control, in which Dr. Kelly described how his house and backyard became contaminated with toxic energy, known as DOR, by grounding a cloudbuster into a swampy area in his backyard.

Reich, in Contact With Space, published in 1957, by C.OR.E. Pilot Press, described the desert atmosphere as being heavily contaminated with DOR, and told how one of his  employees, Robert McCullough, suffered a stroke and was left partially paralyzed from exposure to the DOR field that accumulated around his cloudbuster in the Arizona desert.

The grounding of a cloudbuster into the only source of drinking water for the inhabitants of the oasis endangers the health of the population and reflects the lack of understanding of orgone energy, especially of it's biological aspects, by those involved in this project.

A further complication is that these people, who have taken upon themselves the authority to intervene in the weather and biology of North Africa despite their total lack of any training or expertise in either ecology or orgone biophysics, are extremely mystical and have incorporated their cloudbusting operations into a mystical worldview that insists on ignoring evidence, or even any common sense.

In several e-mails from a Mr. Harold Kautz-Vela, who describes himself as the public relations person for the project, I have been told that they are also employing other methods in addition to the cloudbuster to improve the climate in the region. One of the methods they are using is a Hindu religious ritual known as "Agni Hotra". This religious ritual is well-known in India, but is not used in traditional Hinduism for the purposes the Desert-Greening group in Algeria is attempting to use it.

They are attempting to use this out-of-context Hundu ritual to eliminate residual radioactivity left in the Sahara by French atomic bomb tests in the 1950s. The ritual consists of burning cow manure, which is considerd sacred in Hinduism because the cow is considered a sacred animal, in an inverted copper pyramid at dawn and sunset while chanting hymns from the Rig Veda, a Hindu scripture. The idea that this procedure could remove radioactivity from the environment is, to put it most charitably, religion, not science.

When I expressed skepticism about this procedure, Mr. Kautz-Vela sent me an e-mail containing an explanation composed of a series of pseudo-scientific buzzwords bearing no relationship to the meanings of those words as used by scientists.

Despite the specification that cow manure is to be used, I would call it BULL .

If the Desert-Greening project continues to misuse the Reich cloudbuster to damage the fragile desert ecosystem and endanger the native species of plants and animals for agricultural gain, while at the same time causing destructive weather conditions in distant areas, it might be necessary for people in Europe to act in self-defense.

COVERT CLOUDBUSTING IS A HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION

The Public Has A Right To Know............

" The controversial release of suicide mosquitoes.
      <http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/0,1518,812283,00.html>

A British biotech lab has released huge numbers of genetically modified
mosquitoes in an effort to combat dengue fever. But locals, some say,
were not adequately informed of the experiment -- and now a debate has
erupted over the potential dangers to humans....

The key question is about what scientists may and may not do. Can they
simply release flying, human-biting laboratory-made creatures into the
air? And who controls such activity if this is undertaken for a firm
that seeks to profit from it?..."

...................is about the exact same issue I have frequently brought up on the Orgonomic Ecology list. It deals with the moral and legal obligation of anyone doing anything that will affect the environment to inform the public and obtain the consent of the people whose lives are going to be affected.

Cloudbusting falls into the same catagory as this experiment with genetic manipulation of insects. The individuals doing it may think they know best and may think they have good intentions, but that does not excuse them from the obligation to make their work public and accept the possibility the public might not agree that it should be done.

There is no automatic "Right To Cloudbust". Regardless of how much an individual might think he knows best, he simply does not have the right to force his judgement on others. He has no more right to make people endure the weather conditions he creates without informing them than to secretly inject them with drugs that he thinks will help them.

The comparison is obvious.

To force anyone to be a test subject in an experiment is a violation of their fundamental rights. That is still true even if the scientist forcing them to participate has good intentions or thinks it is for their own good. There is simply no excuse for subjecting unwilling or unsuspecting members of the public to any scientific experiment.

 Including cloudbusting.

The arguments against the genetic manipulators releasing altered insects that could be a potential hazard to the public are arguments that also apply to covert cloudbuster operators who violate the rights of other people to determine their own destiny and subject the public to potential risks.

Anyone who wants to conduct cloudbusting operations must make those operations public beforehand, such as on a publicly accessable website, and have a means in place for concerned members of the public to comment and raise their concerns. Anyone attempting cloudbusting without doing that is a Human Rights violator.

 Regardless of their intentions.

As the international Environmental Movement and the International Human Rights Movement join forces in this area of mutual concern, I hope to interest Human Rights organizations in taking up the issue of covert cloudbusting as a Human Rights violation.

Invention Guru Urges "Try Out Cloudbusters To See If They Work"

Date: Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 8:15 AM

It looks like Jerry Decker,   KeelyNet , the invention guru who runs the Keelynet mad scientist website dedicated to new inventions and new technology, has really gone over the edge. Previously he had only been urging his readers to build cloudbusters to break the drought in Texas, a presumably laudable goal, even if an ill-considered and irresponsible suggestion, given the almost certain weather chaos if any significant number of his readers had followed it without first learning what to do with their cloudbusters after having built them.

But today, in his most recent posting on the subject, he is suggesting they build cloudbusters and try them out merely to see for themselves if orgone energy exists or not. In other words, to satify idle curiousity. This is a whole order of magnitude more irresponsible than just advising them to break a drought. It is about the same as telling them to try open heart surgery to see if it is successful or not, without first learning anything about anatomy or surgical procedures.

And it is also unnecessary. There are plenty of other ways for a hobbyist who is merely curious to verify orgone energy without risking harm to the environment or innocent bystanders. Jerry is well aware of the orgone accumulator, the small-scale medical DOR-buster, Experiment XX, which demonstrates the formation of mass from mass-free orgone energy in water, and many other ways  a curious individual could validate the existence of orgone without the risks to the general public of playing with cloudbusters.

I doubt Jerry or anyone else would suggest someone with no training or experience in building aircraft build an airplane from instructions posted on a website and force unwitting persons to be passengers in a flight in it just to prove airplanes can fly. Why does he think the existence of orgone energy is more in need of proof than the ability of airplanes to fly? And why does he think forcing people to be subjects in an experiment with a home-made cloudbuster without their informed consent is any different from forcing them to be passengers in a home-made aircraft?

At one time I considered Jerry Decker to be a sober, responsible individual, well aware of the dangers of indiscriminate proliferation of cloudbusters. That was several years ago, when he was reluctant to post details on cloudbuster construction for fear it would be misused.

I can only speculate as to why he has undergone such a drastic reversal of his formerly admirable policy of restraint and is now seemingly determined to work mischief. Possibly he has suffered a breakdown or developed a drinking problem, or possibly it is merely a matter of advancing age in a life-long batchelor with no children and a resulting sense of disconnection from any concern for the future of this planet.

Today, Dec. 27, 2011, Jerry Decker wrote:

Please take a moment to send him an e-mail at jdecker@keelynet.com and remind him that people building cloudbusters just to satisfy their curiosity about if orgone is real or not is a really stupid idea that could end up killing some innocent victims, as has frequently happened before when untrained people fooled around with cloudbusters without knowing how to use them.

ARE CLOUDBUSTERS CONTRIBUTING TO THE DROUGHT IN TEXAS?

I keep hearing there is a bad drought in Texas. Could it be a lot of news media hype? Could it be that it is not a shortfall of normal water supply, but over-use by too many consumers? Are underground water tables being drained for irrigation? Are growing populations in the cities using too much water?

All of these could be reported in the news as a "drought". It is important to remember that a news report of a drought does not necessarily mean there is really less than normal rainfall.

But if there really is a shortage of rainfall, there are several distinct possible causes. There could be an infestation of DOR in the area. That is the classical cause of drought, and the  most frequent reason for a drought. It is caused by collapse of the regional atmospheric orgone energy into a stagnant state, known as DOR because of exposure to radioactivity, such as long-range effects of a nuclear meltdown in a place as distant as Japan, for example.

DOR clouds from that incident have gone around the world and can become anchored at a place where they encounter an already-existing DOR concentration, and will then remain and cause a drought, often complicated by a reaction of the remaining healthy energy in the regional atmosphere trying to restore energetic mobility by high winds, tornadoes, and other appropriate, health-giving responses to the stagnation.

Or there could be a DOR barrier someplace upstream, possibly a long distance away, blocking ingress of moisture into the area. Given that the drought this year in Texas coincided with the worst wildfires in history in Arizona, and that is the direction weather fronts come from that bring rain to Texas, it seems the drought in Texas and the dryness in Arizona are both caused by a single factor, probably a blockage of moisture from the Pacific across the Southwest due to a DOR barrier over Jacumba, California, at the crest of the mountain range that separates the moister coastal region from the drier country inland.

That barrier has existed for several thousand years, waxing and waning from time to time. It was intensified in the  1950s due to the nearby atomic bomb tests, resulting in a series of nation-wide droughts, and was temporarily weakened by cloudbusting during the Reich cloudbusting expedition in Arizona in 1955. It has since returned to it's former intensity, blocking a portion of the summer monsoon rains from reaching Arizon and continuing onward. The recent Japanese meltdown has weakened the flow of atmospheric energy and intensified such barriers all over the world and probably this one has been affected also.

Or there could be a poorly designed cloudbuster engaged in a poorly designed operation. One well-known promoter of technology and invention, Jerry Decker, the owner of the popular Keelynet website, has been urging all and sundry to build cloudbusters and end the drought. This is, of course, totally irresponsible since if anyone took him up on the suggestion and did start operating, they would be ignorant of how to use a cloudbuster properly as well as of the possible operations of any number of others in the same area. Problems worse than the present drought would be almost certain to follow.

But one question that comes to mind is, WHAT MAKES HIM THINK THAT NOBODY IS TRYING CLOUDBUSTING ALREADY? Incompetent cloudbusting can cause a drought, or prolong an already existing one, and with the large number of websites giving instructions on how a cloudbuster can be built, there is a better than even chance that at least one person in the Soutwest, probably several of them, unknown to each other, of course, are already hard at work trying to end the drought with home-made clousdbusters---and making things worse.

A cloudbuster can cause a drought in two ways. One is by setting up a flow of air across the path of aproching wearther fronts, blocking them from moving past it. That is what was unintentionally done once by a group of farmers in Wisconsin, who were drawing from the North to try to bring in cooler air from Canada, and the north-to-south movement of air they had caused was blocking the normal west-to-east motion of fronts from the Pacific toward the East Coast. There was a flood in the Upper Missisippi Valley, caused by the series of storms that got stalled there, while the East was having a drought because the storms were not reaching there. When informed of this unsuspected side-effect of their operations, the immediately stopped operating, and the pile-up of successive storms in the upper Missisippi Valley stopped along with the floods, and the weather systems resumed their normal march to the East Coast, where the drought soon ended.

But the other, and by far the most likely type of faulty cloudbuster operation in a cloudbuster-generated drought situation is that the cloudbuster is either connected to a source of electromagnetic current, or else it is not properly grounded. A poorly grounded or electrically excited cloudbuster will impart added excitation to the atmosphere and exacerbate an existing drought tendency. This has happened on several ocassions and is therefore a matter of observation, not theory.

Given the large number of websites providing instructions on how to build a cloudbuster, and the neglect by nearly all of them to even mention the detail of how to ground it properly after it is built, there are likely to be a number of cloudbusters operating in Texas in an attempt to end the drought, and it is about equally likely that none of them is grounded properly.

There have probably been several individuals in Texas who have tried to break the drought by cloudbusting, using equipment they learned how to construct from searching the internet. In which case, they are virtually certain to do something wrong because none of the numerous websites which describe how to build a cloudbuster tells what to do with it after you have built it.

A correspondent who obviously does not understand anything about cloudbusting recently wrote to me that he sees no evidence of any cloudbusting in Texas. By that, he means it is still not raining there. But that means he thinks anyone doing cloudbusting would be successfull. There is no more reason to expect that than to expect successfull surgery the first time from someone with no medical training. In fact, the lack of rain, the continuation of the drought beyond the time when it would probably have ended otherwise, is itself evidence that something is happening to extend it.

And that something is more likely to be faulty cloudbusting than anything else.

SELF-REGULATION IN ATMOSPHERE AND ECOSYSTEM

It cannot be stressed too much that cloudbusting is not unique. The very same issues that face us in the struggle to preserve an independent atmosphere, regulating itself with a minimum of human intervention, are also the issues faced by conservation biologists working to preserve intact and self-regulating ecosystems from blundering and incompetent interference by anthropocentric and self-centered egotists who think they are better qualified to "manage" the earth than the natural processes that have done so since the beginning of life on this planet.
Some people may think my position that the atmosphere should be left alone to regulate itself, with cloudbusting only engaged in as a last resort when conditions require it, is extreme or unusual. It is not. My policy on "managment" of the atmosphere is well within the mainstream of trained conservation biologists regarding "management" of wildlife or "management" of fires in wilderness areas. And for the same reason: Cloudbusting should not be regarded as a part of the physical sciences, such as physics or meteorology, as many people wrongly believe; it is properly thought of as a part of the BIOLOGICAL sciences, and engaging in cloudbusting is engaging in management of an ecosystem.
For anyone interested in doing cloudbusting, a sound working knowledge of ecology is one of the most essential elements of doing it safely and responsibly. The articles linked below are a good place to start learning this important background.

Wallow Fire Reporting Misleading
A mosaic typical of many fires. USFS Apache Sitgreaves National Forest.

The Wallow Fire is now the largest in recent Arizona history, encompassing more than 500,000 acres. The media discussion of the fire often leads to misinformation and misunderstanding of wildfires, and feeds the political agenda of politicians and industries from developers to the timber industry.
One of the problems of media coverage is that most reporters have little or no training in ecology, much less in-depth understanding of wildfire ecology. Context for large blazes like the Wallow Fire are often missing from reportage. The emphasis on fuels makes for easy reportage, but misses some important nuances that lead to simplistic solutions—the common refrain that if we only logged more of the forest such fires would be prevented.
It also tends to reinforce the idea that thinning is needed in all forest ecosystems, when in fact, many fire regimes in higher elevations and more northern locations are more or less still within historic norms.
Furthermore, there is a tendency to focus on the most unfortunate losses which can exaggerate the perception that such fires have done a lot of “damage” to people, seldom holding people accountable for their own losses because they have chosen to build in a fire-prone landscape.

Do ranchers have a right to predator free landscape?

One of the unquestioned and unspoken assumptions heard across the West is that ranchers have a right to a predator free environment. Even environmental groups like Defenders of Wildlife more or less legitimize this perspective by supporting unqualified compensation for livestock losses to bears and wolves.  And many state agency wolf management plans specifically call for compensation to livestock producers—but without any requirements that livestock husbandry practices be in place to reduce or eliminate predation opportunity.
