I'm of course very interested always in the who/what/where/how about any cloudbusting operators in Cyprus, but actually a lot MORE interested in operators to the west and southwest of us who are in a position to be affecting our weather. In the last few years we've had nearly catastrophic dust clouds from the Sahara that increased respiratory illness, and deaths from it, to unprecedented numbers.
I think I mentioned to you in the past a little about orgonomy workers in Cyprus, but not in an organized way. Here's a little more.
When I returned to Cyprus in 1993 I connected to what I thought was one loosely organized informal group of orgone workers, who according to themselves had engaged in some cloudbusting operations on the island in previous years.
As I collected pieces of the story I realized there was enough "weirdness" with authoritarian overtones and dogmatism built into it that instinctually guided me to should keep just to side and avoid getting directly involved.
Later I found out that the group had pooled money to get one of DeMeo's colleagues from Greece to come direct the operations. The same story, as it was told by some of those people a few years later, included DeMeo's name in a way suggesting that perhaps it was he himself who came to Cyprus to direct the operations. But I don't know.
Anyway, they set up a large cloudbuster on the coastal area with either a cable or a chain directly in the seawater. Their goal was to "break the drought" of the early nineties. They repeated this operation perhaps several times each year over two or three years, ending sometime in '91 or '92.
The location of the operation was kept secret because the group contained at least one member who was concerned that Mossad (the Israeli secret intelligence operations agency) would either come steal it away, or sabotage them, or target the members of group with hostile operations.
My experience tells me that when out of the blue a bizzare assertion like this politicizes something there's probably some truth to it operating at some level. Looking back after all these years, and seeing DeMeo's real politics of hatred against Islam, I can say with certainty now that regarding Mossad's role, if there was any, we can apply the motto "where there's fire, then there's smoke". In reverse. False flag operations are the most common ways to conceal something among politically naive or dogmatic people.
If there was any danger from Mossad, it was probably a Mossad influence built into the group right from the beginning. I know some of the individuals who were involved and they are bona fide, honest, genuine, committed anti-zionists enemies of Mossad. It HAD to be sold to them as operating "secretly from Mossad" in order to weave them into it.
Well, I don't know what results they may have produced.
A few years later, around the mid-nineties I was invited to engage with them in another operation. Again they were collecting money to rebuild a cloudbuster (it had rusted in the "secret" location where they had stored it) and also to bring out here again either DeMeo or another "official" orgonomist to direct or advise the operation. Was it Peter Crist? I can't remember now, because his name was being dropped around often - I think he ended up teaching some seminars in Greece in that period.
One more name from Greece that came up as somehow connected to the group, or at least the group perhaps was interested in connecting to, was Christos Mousouliotis. He is the translator of a book by W. Reich published under the title "The Orgone Accumulator, Medical and Scientific Usage" http://www.protoporia.gr/product_info.php/products_id/119808 (I don't know what this book is, never read it in greek).
The group included a socially prominent and popular communist, alternative scientist and professor who has since passed away. Another member was a prominent pharmacist with involvement in Homeopathy. Others were lesser known individuals with good intentions but with strong dogmatic streaks.
I told them I'd be happy to assist but not with money, but that I'd like to primarily engage in dialogue with them about the specifics of the operations. I had a worry that they might be doing work by amplifying the cloudbuster with radioactive materials and I did not trust them enough to be with them in such conditions. Only one of them actually ended up in a dialogue with me about it, and it turned out he had been closed out of the decision making loop by the others and so he could not guarantee to me what I was asking for.
Later I learned that they eventually had a fight about the money among them and split, and that they did not carry out the operation. I think that the particular group ceased to exist by the mid or late nineteen nineties.
But given the levels of secrecy within them, lack of transparency and lack of democracy, I suspect that that some of them may have pulled off another operation in the late nineties. I remember having that sense during that period, that the weather was odd, but not in the usually deformed and stagnated way; a new pattern of stagnation and release (or as the capitalists say of the economy a "stagflation").
In the late nineties and early 21st century, some of those people became connected with an infusion of immigrants to Cyprus from various countries, bringing with them other versions of orgonomy. Some of them formed new "orgone friendships" and went into producing "improved" accumulators, and some versions of cloudbusters.
I'm not aware of any concrete details of any actual cloudbusting done, but by now the orgone community in Cyprus had enough simple technology and hands-on people AND enough dogmatic primma donnas espousing the cause that they could do whatever they wanted without needing to import consultants. I suspect (from the level of talk and "chatter" in the community) that there may have been some cloudbusting done around the years 2000 or 2002. I have no concrete evidence.
Eventually all the egos clashed within the new formations as well, and all forms of co-operative efforts in orgonomy have been defunct since that time I think. Of course there may be individuals doing things entirely secretly, not talking to anyone and therefore "off the radar".
That's about it, I think, as an overview. If I remember anything else, I'll add to the overview.
