The Earthquake

 

The disasterous San Fernando Valley earthquake of 1994 took place in an area where the Reich cloudbuster was in use by a group known as the C.O.R.E. Network, under the direction of Dr. James DeMeo in an effort to combat a drought. Although circumstancial, there is a logical connection between the cloudbusting operations and the earthquake.

At the time of the earthquake, a cloudbusting project had been underway for several days, consisting of seven cloudbusters mounted on trucks traveling up and down the West Coast. The southernmost point from which they operated was an undisclosed location in the San Fernando Valley.

The cloudbuster was drawing all night. A check of the weather maps and satillite photos for the several days before, durring, and after the earthquake, shows a small low developing off the coast two days before the earthquake.

If I was trying to bring rain, I would have drawn from an area next to that low to increase it. The maps and photos show it increasing just as would be expected if a cloudbuster was aimed at a point near it. The rate of increase is consistant with an all-night draw. The report of the cloudbusting project shows an all-night draw was in fact what was done. The operation was quite successfull; The earthquake was around 4:00 A.M.; the rains came ashore just in time to hamper the relief efforts.

Since the cloudbuster needs water grounding to be effective, and there is no surface water in the San Fernando Valley, the cloudbuster must have been grounded into a well, which means it was grounded into the underground water table.The underground water table in that area consists of highly porous rock permeated by water under high presure. This waterlogged rock contains billions upon billions of tiny cells which contain water. The rock is quite brittle.The cells are quite fragile.

It is well known in orgonomy that orgone energy has an expansive effect. Reich discussed this quite clearly in several of his publications. Living organisms, the atmosphere, and in particular, water, expand under the influence of orgone. What would be likely to happen if a cloudbuster was drawing a lot of energy into a sealed container of water? If the container was not strong enough to withstand the increase in presure it would rupture.

It might be expected that the billions upon billions of microscopic cells in the porous rock making up the water table in the valley would start to crack and shatter. This would create vibrations which would, in turn, shater more brittle rock, and in an area prone to earthquakes, trigger an earthquake.

It is highly likely that this sequence of events and close juxtaposition of cloudbusting and the earthquake is more than just coincidental. If one takes into account the known characteristic of orgone energy to cause water to expand, the likelihood of an earthquake when the ground in an earthquake- prone area starts crumbling and vibrating, and the timing of the quake after an all-night draw of energy into an underground water-logged rock formation, one may reasonably suspect that a cause-and-effect relationship may exist.

Cloudbuster Attack On North Africa

 

In every desert region, where the original climate changed into a desert climate, there are some areas called refugia, which still hold the former vegetation. In these restricted areas the former vegetation hangs on for centuries, even thousands of years, as if patiently waiting for the return of the older climate pattern. If that ever does happen, they will then spread out and recolonize their former range.

 

If the cloudbuster is used to add additional stress, in the form of more cold wet winters, for example, to that already caused by excessive dryness, which they have managed to survive, they may finally die out. The greening the incompetent cloudbuster operators are seeing and thinking is a good sign, is not a revival of the older vegetation that existed before the area became a desert. It is a few species of exceptionally hardy plants that can survive the cold wet winter rains that the operators are importing into the region.

 

These plants are able to survive this weather because they are not native. They are imported from Europe, and therefore are adapted to cold and wet winters. By comparison with the native species, they are only a few different species, but under conditions they are adapted to and to which the more numerous native species are not adapted, they will greatly increase and make the desert look much greener, but there will be far fewer species than before.

 

In other words, there will be an increase in biomass, at the expense of a decrease in biodiversity. The newly dominant biota will be less able to endure the original warmer and wetter climate if the original climate ever does return. The newly dominant vegetation will be adapted to colder and wetter winters, as created by cloudbusting, and that will be a condition dependent upon continued cloudbusting operations to sustain it.

 

 Restoration of the original climate, on the other hand, can be accomplished only by removal of the atmospheric blockages, the DOR barriers, as Reich called them, that obstruct the free pulsation and flow of orgone into and through the region. Such restoration would result in the resurection of the ancient climate, and the ancient vegetation that goes with that climate.

 

In Arizona Reich found that grass, a modern, highly complex form of plant, grew directly out of bare sand which contained no seeds. He was able to demonstrate under a microscope that grains of sand could transform into living plants. But this was not done just by adding water. It was done by patiently working for five months to humidify the atmosphere without causing any rain. Not a drop of rain fell as a result of what Reich did in Arizona.

 

Reich did not want to bring rain. He clearly stated that rain, if it had fallen, would have drowned the developing protovegetation and prevented it from developing. What strikes me as strange is that people who have read what Reich wrote do not seem to see this statement. Instead, they talk about his rainmaking expedition, and proceed to misuse the cloudbuster to induce rain in desert areas, and then boldly claim to have replicated Reichs rainmaking feats in Arizona.

 

Let us be clear about that. Reich never made rain in Arizona. He did not want to make rain in the desert. He did not try to do so. And he clearly stated that if he had done so it would have prevented the important discovery that he made of the potential for restoration of the pre-desertification ecology.

 

And it would have been placing another obstacle in the way of that eventual restoration. Which is what is being done by the present cloudbusting project in North Africa. People who try to bring rain to a desert instead of restoring the original ecology really need to go back and read what Reich wrote.

Cloudseeding, Cloudbusting, And Weather Vandalism.

The conventional method of cloudseeding is not a very serious problem because it is only marginally effective at best. The most conventional cloudseeders can claim is around a 12% increase in rainfall over the course of a season, and since the normal variation from one year to another is around 15% it is not possible to tell if it is working or not. The only reason they keep trying is they have a theory that says it MUST work, so they are convinced it MUST be working.

 

The Reich cloudbuster, however, can bring an increase of up to 500% in rainfall over a season. It does not need pre-existing clouds as cloudseeding does, and due to the normal west-to-east flow of weather fronts across the continent, operations on the West Coast can create effects that travel all the way to the East Coast and out over the Atlantic, in a few case, even to Europe.

 

The cloudbuster has been around for almost 60 years now, and in that time several hundred people have tried it at least once. Most of them do not understand it and have no idea how to use it. In the last few years, thanks to the internet, many more people are finding out how to build cloudbusters and have started to monkey around with the weather.

 

The fact that a cloudbuster can be used to control weather is an unfortunate side-effect ofthe real purpose for which it is intended. The proper use of the cloudbuster is not to control weather. It is to help heal a sick or damaged atmosphere and restore it to sparkling life and mobility.

 

There is an atmospheric condition called DOR that results mainly from high concentrations of radioactivity, as in nuclear reactors, and also partly from high-voltage electrical excitation from some kinds of electrical equipment. DOR is toxic to living organisms and causes many illnesses or makes them worse. It also harms the atmosphere, stagnating it and leading to droughts and convulsive upheavals such as tornadoes.

 

The cloudbuster can remove DOR, restoring the atmosphere to health and enabling it to function as it normally would. This healthy state is known as "atmospheric self-regulation" and is the real goal of a properly-done cloudbusting operation. Once the atmosphere has been restored to normal regular pulsation, with rain at the normal regular intervals that are usual for that place, the operator should stand down and refrain from further operations.

 

This concept is hard to grasp for some people. They are control-freaks and want to control the weather and make it do what THEY want it to do, not heal it and then leave it alone to do what it would naturally do. This attitude, which I call "technophilia" is the problem I am campaigning against now.

 

For many years I have been writing about some of the people who have been misusing cloudbusters, often making mistakes that have done a great deal of environmental harm. Many of them mean well, but simply cannot understand the concept of healing a sick atmosphere as opposed to controlinhg a normally functioning one.

 

Lately the situation has gotten a whole lot worse. A group of technology-freaks have somehow gotten the idea that strong storms like hurricanes are a bad thing and they want to prevent them. Since hurricanes are a very important part of the normal functioning of the atmosphere and are one of the ways in which nature tries to clean out DOR and restore free pulsation to large areas of this planet, and also provide many other important services to the ecosystems of the areas in which they occur, if these people were ever to succeed they would probably cause a total collapse of the biosphere.

Greenhouse Gases

The current official scientific doctrine holds that the atmosphere contains certain gases that act to trap heat from the sun and warm up the earth. The theory holds that these so-called "greenhouse gases" are now increasing due to increased combustion of oil and coal by humans. The theory also holds that this increase in greenhouse gases is the main driving force behind observed climate changes.

The view of the atmosphere espoused by the people who propound this theory is called the "heat engine" theory of the atmosphere.It holds that atmospheric motion is caused by differences in temperature between different locales and that as the atmosphere heats up, since the heating is unequally distributed over the surface of the earth, more intense weather will result.

As a result, any extreme weather event is considered evidence for this theory being correct. Any lasting climate variation or trend is also considered evidence that the theory is thereby shown to be correct. and the demonstrable correlation between climate changes and increase of human populations and industrialization is also seen as evidence the theory is correct.

A minority opinion holds that the climate changes are of natural origin and the correlation of increased industrialization with climate changes is coincidental. The correlation between climate changes and increased industrial activity over the past few generations is so strong, however, that this position is not convincing to many scientists.

There is another minority opinion, however, that is much less well-known. It is the orgonomic opinion, sometimes called the Reichian opinion, after Wilhelm Reich, who first proposed it in the 1950s. This theory holds that it is indeed the increase in human technology and human population that is causing the climate changes that are observed, but that it is nuclear technology rather than combustion that is the operative factor.

This theory presents the case that there is an underlying energetic continuum that is responsible for atmospheric motion, that this continuum is sensitive to stimuli, including radioactivity, and that the normal constant motion of this continuum is disrupted by contact with radioactivity. In this view, the observations of a correlation of climate changes and extreme weather events with increase of population and industrialization are seen as a result of the increase of human use of radioactivity over the past few generations.

The orgonomic theory can account for every single one of the observations upon which the greenhouse gases theory rests. It can also account for a large number of other observations which the greenhouse gases theory does not explain.

 These include changes in color and light intensity in the sky over the past 50 years, atmospheric stagnation in the wake of aircraft transporting radioactive cargo, including armed nuclear weapons, resulting in longer dispersal times for the water-vapor contrails left behind by jet aircraft, along with changes in the usual color of such contrails, and numerous illnesses of humans, animals, and plants, described by Reich under the term, "DOR sickness".

The orgonomic theory also can explain the functioning of a device called a "cloudbuster" which can trigger movement of air masses over considerable distances, despite the fact that it does not produce any perceptible heat. If differences in temperature were really responsible for atmospheric motion, the cloudbuster could not affect atmospheric motion unless it emitted enough heat to heat up a large volume of atmosphere. So the fact that the device can change the motion of large air masses is evidence for the orgonomic theory of atmospheric behavior being due, not to temperature differences, but to an energetic continuum that responds to, among other things, nuclear and electromagnetic stimuli.

The most important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere is water vapor. Water vapor is about 100 times more effective as a greenhouse gas than CO2, which is the most common of the combustion products regarded as greenhouse gases, and is the one most usually cited as responsible for the greatest amount of atmospheric warming. There is also about 100 times as much of it as there is of CO2. Taken together, these numbers mean the presumed contribution of water vapor to the presumed atmospheric warming must be on the order of 10,000 times as much as that of combustion-generated CO2.

But the normal annual fluctuation of water vapor in the atmosphere at most places on earth is around 10% from one year to another. So any likely input from additional CO2 would be swamped and undetectable in the vastly greater effect from water vapor.

The changes in climate are therefore almost certainly the result of something other than increase in CO2 and other combustion products, but since they do correlate so well with human population increase and industrialization, the only remaining explanation that holds up is the orgonomic theory, that it is the technological use of radioactivity, not combustion of coal and oil, that is the cause of both the observed climate changes and the increase in extreme weather events.

Smokey The Bear Screws Up

Mr. John Schleining, of New Jersey, and Dr. Stephen Nagy, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, have on occasion taken it upon themselves to play Smokey the Bear and stop forest fires in Oregon. According to their own reports published in the Journal of Orgonomy, they have caused up to 2.5 inches of rain in a dry summer month which normally has about 0.25 inch. Ten times normal rainfall for that time of year! This is not drought relief; it is blatant disruption.The time to break a years- long drought is in the normal rainy season, not in what is normally the dry season.

Despite what Smokey told these people in grade school, natural wildfires have an important role in forest life-cycles and should not be prevented. They open up stands of trees so some can grow, recycle nutrients back into the soil, help some kinds of seeds germinate, and clear away underbrush that would otherwise accumulate enough in several years to cause an eventual really disastrous fire.By meddling in normal forest fire cycles, Schleining and Nagy are following an outmoded fire-suppression policy which the Forest Service now realizes was a mistake and has abandoned.

According to the same report in the "Journal of Orgonomy", the cloudbuster was also used to prevent fire in another way besides increasing rainfall: it was used to decrease the number of lightning strikes in the area. Now, aside from its role in creating useful and necessary fires, lightning fixes atmospheric nitrogen into compounds plants can utilize. For plant species that lack a symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacteria on their roots, including many temperate-zone forest trees, lightning plays an essential role as a source of fertilizer, so this application of the cloudbuster, far from benefiting the environment, amounts to mere vandalism of Oregon's forests.

An article published in "Science News," October 1995 documents an atmospheric chemist by the name of Pud Franzblau has discovered that lightning is a crucial ingredient
involved in the maintainence of life, because it "fixes," or breaks down, the nitrogen atoms
which exist in the air in a form unusable by plants, into a usable form. Up until Franzblau's fieldwork indicated that lightning is responsible for about 1 billion tons of nitrogen fixing (instead of only 10 million tons), researchers had thought that plants were the biggest nitrogen fixers on earth.

A Note From Germany

Der Grund, warum für mich Cloudbusting lange Zeit kein Thema war, war eine Erfahrung, die ich in den 90er Jahren gemacht habe. Bei einer großangelegten Aktion, kam es zu einer internationalen Wetterkatastrophe, in deren Verlauf es etwa 200 Tote und Schäden im Bereich von 100 bis 200 Milliarden Dollar gab. Diese Aktion, an der eine Reihe von Leuten beteiligt waren, die sich heute in der orgonomischen Cloudbusting-Szene lautstark über die positiven Ergebnisse äußern, wurde daraufhin totgeschwiegen. Um keine rechtlichen Probleme zu schaffen, werde ich die genauen Umstände dieser Aktion auch nicht preisgeben. Obwohl diese Aktion (intern) als erfolgreich gewertet wurde, (weil eine monatelange DOR-Situation beendet werden konnte), werden das sowohl die Opfer und deren Angehörigen, wie auch die vielen Menschen, die ihre Existenz verloren haben, anders sehen. Außer den straf- und zivilrechtilichen Folgen, die das für alle Beteiligten haben könnte,
wurden auch internationale Abkommen verletzt.

Bull!

I recently wrote an article critical of the cloudbusting project in Algeria, pointing out some correlations between their cloudbusting and the recent heat wave in Russia,  which was picked up and posted on some other websites with a rather wide readership, and I got a response from a German member of this group  and he has told me some shocking things which ought to be publicly exposed.

One of the most incredible is that they are using a method he referred to as "Agni Hotra" to remove radioactivity from the atmosphere. I had never heard of it, but a quick search on Google found that it is a Hindu religious ritual consisting of burning cow dung in an inverted copper pyramid at daybreak! That a seemingly well-educated man from a Western cultural background can actually fall for anything so preposterous is mind-boggling. If these people are silly enough to think burning cow patties will protect them from radioactivity, they are in for a very rude awakening.

What I have to wonder at is that he seemed so willing to tell me about it. He apparently has no idea how it would sound to most people. This leads to the conclusion he is really very far out of touch with reality. As might be expected from a mystic.

A well-known German Reichian is now making a documentary about the project in Algeria. I wonder how he is going to present this incredible information that the project using the cloudbuster invented by Wilhelm Reich is also using crackpot ancient Hindu superstitions along with it.

Nothing could possibly do a better job of discrediting Reich and his scientific findings than to associate orgonomy with such nonsense. One can only wonder at the motives of those who condone such an association.

The project in Algeria has done considerable more recent environmental damage because of mechanistic modes of operation and lack of understanding of either ecology or orgone energy in the atmosphere. The damage to the image of orgonomy from association with a cowshit cult will not help.

And that is no bull.
